Love Arso! Finally got a bottle of Chypre Palatain today after several decants, cant’t wait to wear it this fall. I actually won’t bottle of Lamar and it really leaves a nice trail, you’re right. I keep trying to get my partner to wear it. Have you tried Santal Des Indes by Amouroud? I love the curry leaf sandalwood dry down.

I just bought both Lamar h Dahab! I like Dahab more! I think Lamar is a tad too sweet & rosey! The berries or roses I don't know which, but it's giving a saffron, Baccaratti feel! And Baccarat is only just ok to me. It's cool tho! Worth a discounted price!

Interesting new overlay. On the ones that I know of/own: I dislike Grand Soir, mostly because the hype is so big and the underlying product is a bit too simple to justify it. Apex was okay. I think Richwood is too plain for the price, not worth the €570/100ml retail. Royal Tobacco is quite sophisticated, to the point where I never give my bottle wear. Maybe wear it as a powerplay fragrance. Kutay is an overkill whiskey scent, I think it competes for #1 whiskey scent in niche alongside Royal Crown's Habanos, but again - very sophisticated wear. Personal top choices for fall/autumn: Gris Charnel Extrait, Tero, Ani, Ytzma, Enclave, Paragon. I just bought Kilian's Smoking Hot and expecting to give that wear too.
