Hi everyone and welcome to my channel.
In this video you can see how I made this Ultimate wooden briefcase with hidden compartment for a pen / valuable stuff.
I made this briefcase for my wife and as they say : Happy wife = happy life :-)
Short story.
I've made first wooden briefcase fev years ago. It was made from same material and with inlay too. It was commissioned to me by Rotary club international to be auctioned off at one of their events to raise money for young unfortunate girl. I decided to donate it in the end.
My wife was super exited with that briefcase from the beginning.
Some time passed and finally i make one just for her. It's designed to carry her spiritual/tarot card decks which she uses for her work. I recived instructions from the beginning that briefcase must have extra space because having 20-30 different decks of cards is never enough :-)

One of the most original projects I have seen on youtube with several embedded cool tricks like carving technique, hiding unappealing beech dowel pins and turning a drill press into mini lathe. Impressive ingenuity to confirm that necessity is the mother of all inventions :)

Realy nice ! Just one thing. i would have made a 45 angle join on the corners and adding "keys" to reinforce the join. I try to show the least end grain on a such creation. Your hand made "handle" is realy pretty and thanks for showing your way to do it !

I would have made more legs so that the lid is not scratched. and of course there is not enough soft upholstery inside. In general, everything looks just super! Great work!
