I've added the Next Level Flight Pro to my Home Flight Simulator. It enhances my Flight Sim experience and takes it to a new level. Also, don't criticize my landing too harshly as I was focused mainly on commenting on my video I was making. In a real live, (and sim life too,) landings get 100% of my attention.

Impressive Setup. Nevertheless I highly prefer VR because the immersion is completely on another level when you see the whole world in 3D instead of looking on flat 2D screens. It's just not comparable. Today the hardware is finally existing to experience VR as we dreamed of since centuries. Once you experienced it, you can never go back to 2D flight simulation (or driving simulation also).
@Pitch4Vy13 күн бұрын
I have tried VR and though impressive, I do not like it because of the hardware you have to wear on your head; I don't even like wearing hats. I do have VR with one of my DJI Drones and can only tolerate wearing the device for a few minutes at a time. But that's just me.
@Thunderbird133713 күн бұрын
@@Pitch4Vy Ok, maybe then the coming new generation of smaller VR devices is more for you (devices like the MeganeX superlight or the bigscreen beyond are showing the direction where it's going). In the next few years the VR hardware will change drastically.

@ I experienced VR and went back to 2D. VR is not at all clear when looking at gauges and it's certainly not good for manipulating physical controls. It does give superior immersion though. I may use VR for simpler planes like the piper cub. But something with more controls I will stick with physical cockpit and 2D screens
@Thunderbird133711 күн бұрын
@ The clearness depends on the headset and your graphics card (resolution). With high end hardware and high resolutions the results are pretty good. Sure, it's not optimal for using various complex physical controls. Although it's possible to blend your physical controls and the VR picture together (depending also on your headset).

It's a G1000 with a honeycomb bravo, you could fly so many different GA planes with this!
@TedFreitas13 күн бұрын
Just curious why you chose the honeycomb yolk, and throttle quadrant. Versus something like the velocityone?
@Pitch4Vy12 күн бұрын
Actually, I started out with Velocity One and they are great products. I had two reasons for changing though. First, I had heard about Honeycomb's great reputation, from the numerous other users who swear by the yoke's freedom and range of movement. The Velocity One yoke had a habit of 'snagging' midway when you either pulled or pushed it and that became annoying. Secondly I had a button break on the Velocity One yoke, but Velocity One would not respond to my requests on how to fix it or replace the broken part; so this is what prompted me to switch.

Are you using DLSS at Quality? What is your resolution setting on each monitor? Are you able to use Frame Generation? What graphics card are you using?
@Pitch4Vy7 күн бұрын
1. DLSS = No 2. Resolutions = Main is 4K, Left/Right are 2K 3. Frame Generation = No 4. Graphics Card = NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 4070 SUPER 12GB GDDR6X

Just looking at your past videos and I am a little confused. A month ago you posted a video saying you were changing from three 42/43 inch screens to three 32 inch. Because the TVs took too much space. Now you are back to the large TVs again. What made you change your mind?
@Pitch4Vy9 күн бұрын
Understandable. Previously, the setup for the larger TVs were on separate stands which has a larger footprint. The new Next Level monitor stand takes up less space than the three separate mounts. Add to this that the Next Level Flight Pro takes up less space than my previous setup, I end up being able to get more equipment in less space. I hope this makes sense.
@ksp12789 күн бұрын
@Pitch4Vy ah, yeah. Makes sense now. Thanks for clarifying. Space is certainly a struggle. I have the same issue.

im puzzled as to why you have cockpit display showing on the front screen when you have the display in front of you and you arent using the full screen "home" mode
@Pitch4Vy13 күн бұрын
I am still experimenting on the display, but a good question. I have seen others with the full screen display and actually intend on trying out in a few days. I will have to adjust the views of the other monitors as well when I do this.
@garyrasso61492 күн бұрын
Control + W will make it a 3 screen view. W will bring back the panel.
@ksp127811 күн бұрын
Looks good. But I think you have the view position and field of view wrong. If realism is what you are going for then your view should look like you are sitting in the seat, not several feet behind it.
@Pitch4Vy11 күн бұрын
Yes, I agree. I am going to be working on this issue and come up with a correct setting.
@lgvdbroek11 күн бұрын
I just don't understand why you show your instruments on the middle monitor when you already have them in your sim cockpit. If you really want to make the situation realistic, and you absolutely have the equipment for it, then I would only show the windshield and the compass on the centre monitor. The rest looks very good. 👍 I wish I had the space for this.😥
@Pitch4Vy11 күн бұрын
The issue I am running into is on the side displays, getting them adjusted correctly. This is something I am working on.

@@Pitch4Vy Clear. Lot of succes then. I think you find the solution in the NVidia inspector/settings. (If you have a NVidia card of course 😊)
