Try reaching though the back of the chair between the seat and the floor when folding the pedals. It's much easier :)

when you swing the arm in - and lock it in place - make sure it goes down and in place. coz mine swung around and i thought omg its the same as this video.....its taller on one side - then i swung it back again and noticed there was room to push it down before locking it in place. i think coz the things in tension, if you just swing it , it wont be level, make sure you push down on the right side as you are locking it in. mine is level - bought it coz of this review - its great. its as good if not better that other rigs ive owned. best part is its light and airy. i got a memory foam cushion with a cool gel insert from my local kmart for $20 and it ontop of a pillow, i can sit for hours with no issue. i also taped some padding foam onto the left and right parts of the tube, where your legs rest. to stop metal on skin strain. its great. cant fault it. i get in from the left. so dont think you only have to get in from the right. i have a stool with ontop a wifi keyboard and mouse on my right. phone sits on the gearshifter plate on the right. its damn near a perfect setup. love it. Easy to get in and out either side. i used to have an obutto and this id probably prefer. there is a tiny bit of lift when i brake at 120% into hairpins but thats only when im at the limit and jam the brakes harder than you ever have before. but its all part of the fun. i know if im doing that then im driving bad. i could dial that out with the angle as its adjustable but ive got the front chair support at 90 degrees to make the footprint as small as possible its a killer setup for cheap.

Thanks for the info. In my case, I made sure the tube is all the way down but it was still tilted

Thanks for the great review. Out of the 2 next level cockpits, the f-gt with all its adjustments that you reviewed a while ago and this version, which did you prefer?

The GT lite without hesitation. The F-GT is too complex and transforming it from one position to the other is a tedious task.

I didn't know which to get but this one is £50 cheaper and your review and this comment just helped me realise its the right one of the 2. Hi I have limited space, can you tell me the exact measurement from the front to back? The chair leaning back doesn't matter, just need to know exact of the base from the end of the chair on the floor to the front past where the pedals brackets end. Thank you
