@@kylekeller3398 I don’t think it was banned under Bob Iger’s watch. It was probably banned while he was still a child. The only reason why I know about it is because my grandparents were able to buy a copy from overseas and have it shipped to them. Edit: yes, if you look it up, Iger didn’t become Disney’s CEO until 2005, and Song of the South was banned worldwide in 2001. I’m not sure when it was banned in the US, but considering it came out in the 1940s, it had to have been banned before the ‘90s.

This makes people think that this series is going to be an event they don't want to miss out on, or have to play catch-up on later.
