I just got one of these, just wanted all around recording for a cheap price. My only concern with this is would it be able to read registration plates? I am only interested in using the footage if in the event of an incident My only thought is if I ever needed a reg plate as evidence would it be able to read it?

YOu're right, I was going to get one of these from Halfords but after watching this video maybe not. All the reg plates are just a blur. How's it going one month in? Pros / cons?

@@soundbeans The quality is better than on youtube. It would be fine to prove in the event of an incident But If you're wanting it for reg plates I would pass on it. Definitely better quality elsewhere but they cost more, it's pretty good considering the price.

I’m not too sure if we are watching the same video, but I can see the reg plates just fine? In the event of an accident you would pause and screenshot the reg plate very easily? The quality is perfect for what’s required when it’s required.

Am I right in saying it doesnt connect to WiFi if so do you have to remove SD to download a file , or is there an easier option available

It doesn't connect to WiFi. You have to remove the SD card then plug it to your device to download/copy the data you need.
