Great video explaining the ins and outs of these vans. There’s so many Ozzy vans out there it’s difficult to make a decision on what would suit the best. Very impressed and you have made my decision so much easier Cheers 👍

Hi Vaughan, those Next Gens are becoming a very popular Van. A n8ce walk around. Just a point on your chains / breakaway. I was speaking some time ago with VTNZ who told me I was supposed to have one or the other. Following some research on the matter, I discovered they are 100 percent correct and it is illegal to have both. There is no sense in having a breakaway with chains, and if the breakaway actually actuated with chains on this could, in fact, be dangerous to the tow vehicle. Hope this info provides you with the incentive to check ot out and come to your own conclusions. We have an 8 mtr leisureline and we are towing with an Audi Q7 V8 diesel. Love it to tow with, but I am envious of the off-road rigs like yours. Hope to see you on the road sometime and share a beer!

@@nv-usadventures7018 Yea, we are having a good time, I think we are all really tired, though, the heat and early mornings and long days have wiped us all out a bit, some cool things coming up, I've been working on the next video, so that will be out next week, got a couple of shorter ones I think I will make... Next week I'm taking a group to west virginia white water rafting so i'm looking forward to that.

Thanks for that brother! Probably one of the best vids we've see where you walk us through and explain. Bloody nicely done. Red is def the color to go and the Ute is a beaut. Any chance on letting us know what the van set you back? Ball park figure if that's ok with you? The wife and I are preparing our 18 month NZ trip and we are fishing around for a good van like yours. Otherwise, safe travels and happy hunting! Chur E & T

Thanks so much for your support 😊 ball park figure would be about $140,000 roughly as we added things and changed a few things out along the way we didn’t keep a super accurate

@@nv-usadventures7018 much appreciated and thank you for taking the time to get back to us on this. Yeah, that’s pretty much what we thought as well. The van is beautiful and your missis did an excellent job with the interior design. We are now also looking into this and are slowing making our decision on what best suits us. Watched your back story again last night and I can def know where you are coming from in regards to seeing the people around you “not being around anymore” or not being able to take even make it to retirement… Understandably, you guys must have have many long coffee talks about this just as we are right now. So, we just want to say thank you for taking the time to share your story. Indeed, it’s more motivational and helpful than you guys might realize. So…thanks for that. As for us, we are going to keep following you and I’ll continue to keep in touch and just see if you guys are safe and doing well until it’s our turn to hit the road. We r in the planning stages now and hope to be trekking by March / April 2023. Exciting stuff ! Will pray for you and wishing you a wonderful day further. Stay safe brother E & T

We have just been looking at a second hand one of these Elite Molesworth ,they are big !had you much experience towing and touring before purchasing this caravan?Thanks for the video really informative.
@nv-usadventures7018 Жыл бұрын
They are definitely big. No experience with caravans or touring but plenty of towing experience, boats, trailers, farming equipment etc however it still took several months before feeling comfortable towing a trailer this size in to camps, down narrow roads etc even now we will try and check out areas first whenever possible before taking the van.
