It is a blessing. His life purpose 9r karma is indeed to uncover the truth and succeed at it. Success and acclaim and money follow in his case. In most other truth chaser, the karma is reversed. With the chase comes incredible adversity, cancelation, shunning, persecution and often despondency. Eventually such people depart this world not knowing if tgey have succeeded at tgeur life purpose. That is sade. Oliver seems to have come to show it and live to further dissect it, teach it and trully enlighten us. It is a blessing. Not that his job is easier ...but he stay around with a platform to prove it over and over. Itp think his navigation on earth was designed that way! It is beautiful and hopeful to see. He is a universal model!

Yep, worked on natural born killers and this man knew his stuff and was so involved. Even after hiring one of the best cinematographers Oliver went into the rental house where camera equipment was being prepped and shot test after with various film stocks, finally settling on 9 different stocks in super 8, 16mm, and 35mm. In one word I would say “powerful” in the late 80’s early 90’s.

Truth what a concept huh? Probably the most honest and candid interview of ever heard. Many thanks to Alex and huge appreciation to Mr Stone for his work. Growing up in the 1960's the Vietnam war was so prevalent in our lives but we only knew what the media provided on basically only 3 prime time tv channels. I remember watching the events with my grandparents at 6:30 pm and I couldn't understand war and it's purpose. When Platoon came out it was such an eye opening experience. It was the start of my journey to alway try and learn the truth about as much as I could about life, the Universe and everything. So much more respect if thats possible for Oliver Stone to know this was the underlying reason behind his movies. Thank you.

Truly amazing and iv owned most of his films and watched them again and again and turned others on to them as well. Most movies iv seen since are hardly worth seeing 1 time whereas for example again the Doors iv enjoyed many many times along with many other OS films. I hope he does continue to make great movies as he is a wonderful story teller with an extroadinary point of view. Excellent interview as you asked thoughtful questions and then let him speak. Oliver is so raw and truthful to a fault. He's authentic, warts n' all. He's an example of walking his own path irregardless of outcome. Also an example that TRUTH ALWAYS OUTS. Took him a long time to be successful in his passion and belief. Gosh, I know I'll be listening to this podcast again for inspiration and to fortify my fighting soul when the chips are down. I read the book and I think he wrote about his life with such honesty....bravery to reveal so much. I was at the old Khe Sanh military base museum once on a bleak, wintery day. I looked at the photos from the 1960s, read some stuff about battles there. I walked the perimeter and into some of the bunkers, felt the steel of old tanks and artillery, slowly rusting away. Oliver Stone worked extraordinarily hard to reach his goals. I've always appreciated his movies, and I've felt gratitude because through them, he conveys messages to us masses that help us see the truths in our world more clearly. I just looked up his astrological chart and and although there's no Aquarius happening that I can see, he does have the following by The 5th Dimension: 🎶When the moon is in the Seventh House 🌜 And Jupiter aligns with Mars Then peace will guide the planets And love will steer the stars 🎶 His Mars is right next to Jupiter in his 12th house and his Moon is in his 7th house! I've looked for that combo from that song in many charts and now I've found it in Oliver Stone's birth chart. Wow. Also, "love steering the stars" fits his chart too with Venus, the Goddess of Love, in his Rising Sign of dun - dun - dun -- Scorpio!! 🦂Of course! This means he Loves digging for the Truth. -- I salute you, Oliver. 🖖 His movies embody the next lyrics of that song: 🎶Harmony and understanding Sympathy and trust abounding No more falsehoods or derisions Golden living dreams of visions Mystic crystal revelation 🔮 And the mind's true liberation 🎶 And look at the title of this interview: Oliver Stone: Unraveling the DANGERS of Seeking the Truth 😂 One of the main themes I've always seen for Oliver Stone is shining a light on the truth 💡 and these last lyrics fit that: 🎶Let the sun shine, Let the sun shine in The sun shines in 🎶 🌞
