All good things have an end. After almost 3 weeks on the road first with ‪@evazubeck‬ and Vilk, it is time for us to part ways. Already from the beginning we did not imagine that we would end up travelling so long together. We have never spent so much time with another traveller and we discovered the beauty of building a friendship on the road.
We are grateful for those three weeks with this incredible duo. Vilk served as alarm system during night campfire for potential wild animals approaching, and Eva literally pulled us out a big hole in Prudhoe bay. We could all have completed this journey on our own fine, but doing it together had a different flavour. The campfire cooking, seeing our first northern lights, helping each other when needed, we loved those three weeks travelling as a group.
We started the journey up Alaska with strangers and finished it with friends, the beauty of the life on the road.
If the world is for the brave, the world is undeniably your's Eva and Vilk.
In this episode we travel through #Yukon beautiful Fall sceneries. Some of the most exceptional lights and colors we got to see. As we said goodbye to some friends we meet new ones. In Marsh lake we get the full Yukon experience: living in a wood cabin, diving in the freezing waters, wood cutting technics, evening pit fire, wild animals on the doorstep, etc...

The best summer work/travel job I've ever had was in Whitehorse,Yukon. As a student at the University of Calgary, I got on a Greyhound bus after my last final exam and two days later, I was in Whitehorse. Had a job lined up with a travel and touring company. It was a summer of hard work, adventure, and friendships. One June 21, (the longest day of the year) I spent the night with friends on a roof top drinking beer and seeing if the sun would go down. It didn't. Then I went to work. When the company I worked for had a break in work with no hours (one week), I boarded one of their buses for free and headed to Skagway, Alaska. From there, I boarded the Alaska State Ferry and sailed to Juneau. I saw the same beautiful sites as the fancy cruise ships while sleeping on deck. In Juneau, I had a beer at the Red Dog Saloon, where the floor is just dirt and straw. I was able to get on a helicopter tour of the Mendenhall Glacier. There were many more adventures, including a run-in with a black bear while jogging, and seeing the beautiful and mystical northern lights. I had a total of $7,000.00 in earnings from work and other business enterprises to show for the summer as I boarded a plane back to Calgary. One of my best summers ever! Thanks for reigniting those beautiful memories. Travel is a great way to meditate and see the world in a different way.

I'm glad you guys traveled with Eva so far ... sometimes I'm a little worried about her ... she spends a lot of time on the road and is not that mechanically inclined .... she spends a lot of time in natural places with wild animals and does not have much protection. Lastly she spends a lot of time traveling in dangerous countries where law and order are often determined by who has the most guns ... I think it's better to have a traveling partner like you guys have eachother ... if not just for safety but also to have someone to share the adventure with ... you guys are a great team ... 👍

I realize I'm commenting well past post time, but couldn't pass up the opportunity to say we really enjoy your channel and videos! Thank you. ummm, also Destruction Bay down to Haines is the most densely concentrated grizzly bear areas in North America...glad you didnt have an encounter. We were in that area in our 4x4 sprinter camper van a few months after you and saw sign of them and 1 small male that tried to cross the highway but got scared and changed its mind. haha. We also went to Prudhoe Bay as well as Tuktoyatuk. We havent decided yet if we will complete the PanAm but are giving it some consideration. Alaska and western Canada is definitely one of the most beautiful areas in the world; comparable to the French and Swiss alps for their drama but on a scale many many many times larger and much more vast. We live in the Desert Southwest US but the scale of our area doesn't not compare with the scale up there! Again, thank you! Safe travels. We look forward to future episodes of your adventures and hope to one day run in to you somewhere in the world.

Un jour j'ai rencontré un fille au Vermont qui partait pour le Yukon avec son petit camion (pick-up) et je lui ai demandé su je pouvais venir avec elle. Elle a tout de go répondu: "Sure". Ce fut un beau voyage imprévu pour moi. J'avais 21 ans et elle 26. On dormait dans la cabine arrière couverte ou en tente et on se lavait/baignait chaque matin dans un nouveau lac. Nous avons été en contact de nouveau il n'y a pas très longtemps. Cela faisait 40 ans! Je ne raconterai pas toute l'histoire. C'était épique et super! Bonne route 🌎🚙

We actually felt it was the perfect moment to go. The fall colors were amazing, the weather was apparently much better thank during the summer and there was no mosquitoes contrarily to the summer time. We were probably lucky not to have much rain but we would recommend going around that time definitely :)

Destruction Bay has a population of 55 people providing a school and government services to locals and tourism services to travelers. In 1942 winter storms wrecked the buildings that supported the construction of the Alaska Highway, hence the name. A little history available on the internet in seconds broadens the view. Or not.

I love enduro's. I love watching Noralie videos. I love Eva and Vilk. I got to meet her for a minute while she was in Washington. A very kind, gentle and somewhat restless soul. For just a split second I didn't have a rule of never doing selfies, but the angel on my left shoulder won out easily. I will say this, I will never forget her bright eyes and kind words. @NextMeridian.Expedition should come to Colorado Denver Metro see the Ghost towns and gold mines and Rocky Mountain Nation Park with the Elk and the Alpine Slide in Estes Park...outside Rocky Mt...Golden home of Cors Brewery and Lookout Mt...across from that is South and North Table with the Colorado Railroad museum...In the Spring is Dead Guys days with the coffin races in Nederland...and Pikes Peak in Colorado Springs and the Manitou Incline if you dare .88 mile but 2000 ft up..
