I am a European girl, so most of this is..well...not stuff that I've seen. I did recognize PSP sounds, because a friend had them. But not the Bill Nye the science guy or something. Either way, my parents were older than most of the parents and a bit oldfashioned, so they showed me series from the 60's and 70's. I always share the same nostalgia with very old people. I'm nearly 30.

Ah yes, the good old days.... Thanks for this! I remember almost all of those.... The old Nokia cellphones were indestructible! I had one that got slammed in the hood of a car and run over by that same car. It had some cosmetic damage, very minimal, screen was unharmed, and it still worked like brand new! A few years later, I had a Nokia in my t-shirt breast pocket and it fell into a washing machine full of soapy water. It sunk to the bottom and it took me like 5 or 10 minutes to find it. I dried it as best I could, but again, soap. I disassembled it as far as I could, set all the pieces in front of a strong fan turned on high, left it for over 24 hours. Still dead. So I reassembled it and put it in a box. About 6 months later, I was going through my stuff and I came across the phone. It took me like 30 minutes to figure out where it came from, I had completely forgotten about it. When I realized what it was, just for fun, I hit the power button. I couldn't believe what I was seeing! It turned on! It didn't have service at this point, but I explored and everything worked as if nothing had ever happened to it! I really miss my old Nokias..... 🤯😉🙂

#32 is so short but it’s probably the one that I was most surprised by because the others were fresher on my mind and that one was really one that I hadn’t thought of but came flooding in stronger than any others. #31 doesn’t really have much pull on me but it’s about as 90s as it gets so I love it. I’d go back to the 90s anytime, it’s 100% the best time to be alive, I hate cell phones(at least what they’ve become) and having that dial up internet was a time when people had a degree of connection that made it cool and a good thing but without the controlling, time consuming giant it’s become. I almost thought that the “you’ve got mail” wasn’t gonna be included on the list and #1 was going to just be the dial up tone so that was nice to be thrown in right at the end, it gave me a smile. I’d love to be able to get on the computer at the end of the day like I used to with the anticipation of wondering if I “got mail” or not.
