I always love it when immigrants come here, who wouldn't have had rights otherwise, don't know the history, don't want to learn the history. Having access to wealth that natural-born citizens who have been here for generations don't have access to, tells us to work harder. Sir, we literally built the wealth of this country on our backs. As a black man whose family came here from slavery, who has been an activist against Asian hate, and for all people's civil rights. It's very disheartening when people do this. Because they really believe it's okay to be ignorant. If he is as successful as he claims, he can pick up his phone and learn about systematic racism. It does exist there is data on it.

Peter Yu has been able to obtain the success. He has based on civil rights that Black people fought and died for. He’s probably not experienced the same systemic racism because his skin is lighter and he comes from an Asian background. They are not deemed a threat to society. His ancestors weren’t held back by Jim Crow, which ended in 1964. He needs to meet Ann Coulter she’ll teach him a lesson. She’ll teach him exactly what racism looks like. He also doesn’t experience the same kind of racism that Black people experience. So he shouldn’t say it doesn’t exist. He can honestly say it doesn’t happen to him.

As an Asian American male, the Peter Yus of the world would tick me off if they weren’t already actively self-destructing. Peter Yu, as successful as he may be, doesn’t understand that as long as he sits, stays, and heels when told by the Republican Party, he can ride along in the family car. But the minute he steps out of line, they send him to Kristi Noem’s gravel pit to take permanent nap with Cricket.

There’s nothing worse than a guy who says I made it in the current system in spite of racism, and those who haven’t are losers. If he wants to be a leader, he needs to use his success to knock down the barriers he experienced and better level the playing field for those who come behind him. He can’t join the party who not only denies the existence of those barriers, but is fighting to keep them.

Not deemed a threat to society? Sounds like you don't know Asian American history as you chide others on not knowing African American history.

In his 1:1 with CD4 Candidates, Kyle lets the candidates talk. At the same time, when he asks a question, he either gets an answer, or makes a statement about the candidate's avoidance. "America can no longer be a beacon of hope for the world as our resources are no longer able to take care of mass immigrants coming to America", bu that thought doesn't apply to his family.

Your comment doesn't apply here. You forgot one very important aspect, Peter Yu's family came here legally. Anyone who applies, goes through the process of being approved, comes to America legally, and works and contributes to America is welcome...

The reality is that it will be either Joe Biden or Donald Trump as our next President. All I can say is under President Biden, we have over 10 million immigrants crossing our border under his term, Inflation and cost of living is out of control, crime is skyrocketing across the country, and since President Biden took over, there are now two wars going on in Ukraine and Israel. So really the only option is to support Trump at this time as Biden's policies are not working. I am definitely voting for Peter Yu!

He talks too fast...I don't trust people who rattle off their thoughts. Also I this his facts are off regarding the future entitlements and social security's future prospects. His views on climate are WAY OFF BASE! Climate change is real and already hurting this country.

When GOP stands with White supremacy, does that mean anything to him? Take a closer look in the mirror.
@tinaonthemove5 ай бұрын
You have to be kidding? Right? This may be one of the most ignorant comments I have seen. Once again, we see how not being informed and watching too much main street media can warp someone's mind. It's always funny that the Democratic Party ignores the fact that it was the Democratic Senators who filibuster to stop the Civil Rights Act in 1964 or that it was President Joe Biden who didn't want racial integration because he didn't want his children to "grow up in a racial jungle" or that President Biden was great friends with Democratic KKK member Senator Robert Byrd or that President Biden said if you can't decide to vote for me "you ain't black" Does this mean the Democratic party is racist? Of course not, and to say the GOP stands with White supremacy is just plain irresponsible and stupid. Stop spreading hate and false lies. All you are doing is dividing out country. What a disgusting comment that is absolutely a wrong. Maybe it is you Springspring who should take a closer look in the mirror and learn some facts.

Yu has no problem flip-flopping on previous statements, especially as he appeases Kyle during the interview. Kyle pushed Yu into revealing his self-interested world, and how his principles are "the best". JSNE Assessment: Yu would have no hesitation taking command of the Trump Colorado region, and placing all kinds of people in detention camps.

✊🏾 Black people have had it harder and other racial minorities. But it’s like having to carry a 20 pound backpack, it’s more tiring and it’s not fair, they can be done. A lot of it holds minority communities back or themselves. Violent culture, culture that glorifies criminals instead of doing the right thing, culture that says don’t work with the police to solve crimes, etc. Also constantly being a victim and believing “the man“ is it gonna hold you down so you might as well not try because you won’t succeed very likely. But this type of issue can crush any community. I think about how I’m not even 40 years old and my mother would have grown up during absolute systemic racism even though she was born at the same time as the civil rights act. So has she been black she would’ve grown up in a very racist time, that would have built her foundation, and she would’ve raised her children with similar outlooks. People aren’t a computer that can be reprogrammed so easily. So in one ways the civil rights act and issues of the past are far in the past, and in another way they’re just one generation back. So the people that dismiss the difficulty of many minority communities are practically ignorant because they don’t think about the practicalities. And I don’t know how many communities or minority lives or horribly over Policed. It’s not politically correct to say such things, but it doesn’t mean it’s untrue. Because you have to look at how I have heard that foreign born Black people who immigrate here turn out to have much better outcomes than Black people who are born in this country. And it’s because of the mindset so often. When you believe you can overcome obstacles, you push yourself that much harder. Often times we hold ourselves back. But of course no community wants to admit that they are so far behind because they have held them selves back. But because that community doesn’t want to admit it, they continue to hold them selves back more than they have to do so.

💰 ~ F NO! If you were going to change Social Security, then you damn well better change it for every single person. I don’t care if they retire in one month. Because older people should be able to delay their retirement by six months at least. Why not? Basically what they did is they ate up all the benefits even though we have been told for at least 30 years that we need to change Social Security benefit amount or retirement age. So why should they get to run out the clock and then say “oops, my bad, but it’s too late for me to sacrifice even a little bit“?! So I don’t give a crap. You’re wanting younger people to suffer by several years or give up Social Security altogether, but you don’t want older people who’ve known about this for plenty of time they have to take some personal responsibility? Go take a long walk off a short pier.
