Thank you very much, one of the best tutorial I saw on Massive, You don't just give the tweaks but explain what's going on, and that miss on tutorials these days.

Very good tutorial. This makes me want to learn Massive. I like how you explain what the parameters do as you use them to not get people confused. Keep makin videos like these.

Thanks so much for this tutorial BRIAN :) If anyone is using FL Studio 8 and is having problems viewinig the macro dials, then you need to click the drop down menu from the top left corner on the massive window and Select "Detached" This will allow you to move the window around freely within your FL Studio :) Happy synth making people...

thank you very much for this tutorial, what I like to do is moving the daft filter to the 2nd filter, make it seriell, and put a lowpass filter on the cutoff with a performer on it, it sounds the same but you can draw patterns in the performer. I hope this helps someone. but thanks for this tutorial it was really helpful!

@vitalremainsdrummer hmm I have not had problems with the sound being weighted too much to one side of the stereo field. In actual productions I tend to layer basses and have my lowest layer/sub be mono. The mid and higher bass/lead sounds tend to be hi-passed and more distorted and more stereo. I hope that helps

@LucidSpore I bought Komplete 5 a year ago and upgraded to Komplete 7 in more recent times. I highly suggest buying it as part of Komplete 7. It is a very good deal and better value than buying it as a standalone.

This was an amazing tutorial. Do you know of a way to automate the macro knobs if you don't have a midi keyboard? My keyboard is out of reach of my PC at the moment, but for testing purposes (and future reference) I was curious of any other ways to turn those knobs without syncing them to a midi device.

@iRubeGoldberg the wavetables are part of massive and unfortunately you can't make your own. I don't know whether they are mathematically generated or sampled wavetables. Probably a combination of both. If you want to sample or draw your own wavetables you can do it with NI's Absynth

"so thats a bit harsh of a sound, but i like that" I was just thinking the same thing, really great tutorial man, been looking for something like this. Thank you for sharing =] btw did you purchase massive on its own or in a bundle. Im thinking of getting a bundle but not sure.
@misterE31012 жыл бұрын
the different wave table positions have been sampled my friend, it is not mathematically being generated but sounds close enough.
@halonone14 жыл бұрын
@iluluvsbreaks Thanks, I think I was trying to create an automation clip while it was on sync and that's why it wasn't working. Once I turned that off it was all good!

I think all oscillators in massive are generated by itself. I don't think anything is sampled at all. I could however be terribly wrong.
