I was on an adult precision skating team many years ago. We were nowhere near this good, but we had a blast and it is definitely a lot of work.

Precision teams are extremely difficult and require complete dedication. A double axel is cake. When doing a 2A, you depend only upon yourself and your own skills. Precision teams require trust and dedication of 20+ people. You can’t even compare the two. It’s completely different.

It is such a fun sport, but I have so many horror stories loll! I was in a team when growing up and lemme tell you it's no joke when you smack into someone at full speed. The whole group might go down if the first row falls. Just imagine face planting on the ice when everyone around you has knifes attached to their feet

My friend refused to let go of the railing the first time, completely refused. On the second one, she let us take her by the hands and lead her a bit, but she was so panic-y it was really hard. Third time, she was more okay, but super panic-y when we let go. All this time she moved as a newborn deer. The next time was better, the next one better than that. Now, after a few tries, she's still a bit unsure and unsteady, but she's skating by herself and it's not half bad. What I mean is that sometimes it's hard but you shouldn't give up or give yourself a hard time. It's a skill you have to practice over and over again and it's nothing wrong with looking like a newborn deer at the beginning :)

If you look up different videos of synchro you can see so many different levels and types! Programs can consist of so many different elements and can be done to so many different types of themes. It’s really stunning! One of my personal favorites are the Haydenettes, their program of 2018-2019 was stunning.

I absolutely loved the choice of song and I love Nexxice! Definitely one of my favourite programs of their's. But I feel a little bit more could have been done with this program.. Especially with the upbeat part of the song. They have amazing, talented skaters and I think they should add just a little more to their programs. I can't wait to see what Nexxice 2017!!
