Hi thank you for reacting to NEXZ 💖. I too don't know why they changed their names but some NEX2Y told that it's easy to pronounce Hyui's name and for ken i think they just went for his korean name 🤷🏻‍♀️.

With the names: If they didn't change it we would've had a Yu, a Yuki and a Yuhi in one group and 2 of those are maknae line, confusing for the GP and they would've probably been mixing them up all the time, it's a smart change and very close to his actual name. With Ken he's Korean from Tokyo (he has a big family they're all korean, billingual and raised in Japan) they're debuting in Korea so the Korean GP can immediately see they have a Korean member just from his name. and the members literally never call him Ken, in their behind stuff they always call him geon-ie and geon-ah that's his name so he's just comfortable with that (kills 2 birds with 1 stone)

It says his real name is So Gun but it's basically the same as So Geon just with a different romanization, not to be pronounced as So Goon, his name is and always was 소건. Hope I explained it well 😅

that's kinda an outdated information, as of now all of them can speak korean and suprisingly very well (some member still struggles tho esp yu)
