Lol NMIXX was chillin. As sunbaenims/seniors, it looked like they wanted to put the spotlight more on their hoobaes KIOF. That's respect! LMAO Haewon was there 40% to sing, and 60% to be funny. She could've done a lot higher on the key modulation game but then her variety show instinct kicked in 😂.

However there are some "sunbaenims" who aren't as keen to give up the spotlight for their hoobaes. That's why I have so much respect for NMIXX. Because they always stay humble.

To correct your intro, it was Natty that was a trainee under JYP at the same time as Lily, not Belle. And yes, Belle was a composer/writer who contributed to parts of Le Sserafim's Unforgiven and Miyeon and others before she decided to promote as an idol with Kiss of Life.

If you need a solid analysis on kiofs vocals. i really REALLY REALLY recommend reacting to their cover of 'Sixth Sense' by Brown Eyed Girls on Song Stealer!! The vocals were INSANE especially Belle's. Just a little info on the 'Song Stealer', it's a program where an artist can openly steal another artist's songs with the original artist being there. Kiof managed to win them over with their performance.

I think belle was just afraid to project that high, her voice is really airy and when she places her voice forward it’s usually a big sustained note, not singing in that register fully, so I think here she was afraid to suddenly jump tot that register because she would have to sing like that throughout, if it was just a sustained note she would’ve been fine
