It's not normal to get full pay but you get what's called "show up pay" as long as you click arrived. I had the store cancel a $30 GMD order when I was already parked. I got $6 show up pay and then the order came thru again and I reaccepted it 😂

Something weird happened to me with an employee at Walmart. Got 2 small orders. Scanned and was almost on my way when this worker with an attitude told me I couldn't take the delivery because of the personal items in my trunk of the SUV . It was a tool kit and a bag of cat food. That was it! I told her I could put them up front, and she still refused. I called support to tell them what happened. So being new I had no idea this posed as a violation. I have coming there for 3 weeks everyday with no problems. Yet there are people with dogs and cars full of junk at that very moment! I am not sure why I was singled out. I am very upset still over it. We need cameras to record their ridiculous attitudes and harassment towards drivers. AND yes what about those dash cams? There are plenty of drivers with them. I waited 2 years to get off the wait list. I have nothing but problems with this app and the way Walmart handles Spark in so many ways. I am at Walmart for UberEats too. I have had numerous 65 inch Tvs in there with tons of groceries! They tried to put a bicycle in my car and then got an attitude when I refused it. I wasn't going to fit. Trust me! They want us to haul Bleach and other hazardous items and they don't care putting food items with the Bleach. They are worried about a small 18 inch tool box? A driver needs tools in case we break down. I have been driving for 23 years for delivery jobs. Trust me you need tools. Anyways, I do believe my days are limited to this app. UberEats has always paid pretty good on 30% of the runs. I run 4 apps now. Some days are good, and others are just pathetic.

Lady at my Walmart same thing. Big power trip. Uber Eats is doing Walmart orders in my area. I had offers from bother Uber and spark. I took an asap spark order and was trying to figure out how to cancel Uber but couldn’t. When I came back they all surrounded my car threatening to ban my account because I had to many orders, started making other remarks. My next order she was trying to find a reason to cancel it. I told her she had 2 options put the stuff in my car or I wanted the store manager out here and I would also be calling spark directly. Haven’t had an issue since lol

I stay in orlando and the employees cant have you banned and theres nothing wrong with filming and if they cancel the orders you will still be compensated for your time and showing up. plus the bins were not suppose to be like that, hazard and safety issue. that was the worst i've ever seen the loading area be. she didn't wont to get reported for thier work ethic and area.

A way around the wait list that worked for me is to apply for an open zone ANYWHERE in the U.S.; and once you get hired on you can switch your zone immediately within the app (to your preferred area) even if it is full. You can also work out of town like this but current incentives will only count in your current zone until duration of incentive expires.

Same thing happened to me at one of my locations the manager would cancel all my orders whenever I came to her location but every other Walmart would bring out my order. It’s crazy how they said you can’t record when spark sponsored other content creators so what is it really?

If Walmart Spark is aware that the order was canceled you’ll get the base pay. I was paid for a one item shop and deliver when the item was out of stock. Sometimes the orders float around even though they’ve been cancelled.

Yes you get paid as long as its the store or customer who canceled it. Ive recieved different pay each time so I dont know how they determine how much you get, its not the base pay because the base pay is more then what they always give. Also never wait more then 30 mins for an order, at that point call support and explain the wait and they will cancel it and pay you something, not much but still something and it wont count against you, then move on to the next order

If the store or the customer cancels the order you still get the base pay. If you have to wait longer then 30 minutes for an order you should also get additional wait time pay. It’s small $2-3 but at least it’s something

If there is excessive wait time(for me longer then 10 mins) they will give you partial order pay n doesn't count against your dropped trips. That's been my experience. In fact I dropped a trip bc of wait time then got offered same offer for 3 dollars more and a partial payment for dropping in first place for 5.62.

Yes, you get paid for the time, also I had those orders that were canceled or picked up hours ago and still in the system and I just called support and they paid me like half of the offer. Is good he stills active but maybe he can’t go to that Walmart because of her or you can try. That happened to me with particular Walmart about car smell of smoke or offensive odors😂😂first of all i do not smoke and when called support I explained that it 100 degrees ans I picking up groceries and when look at items onions fruits milk etc it going to start smells from 50 plus customers picking up. But Walmart associates can reassign a new driver and it shows your complete name!! They only hurting themselves and customer waiting items !! All have to do is call support report that store and it will go to safety!!

I have a dash cam with 3 cameras. Front, rearview, and in-cabin. Haven’t had to download any of the videos, but it’s good to have. If there’s ever an incident, it holds footage for 3 hours before recording over it. I could get a larger gigabite SD card and it would hold footage for a longer time before recording over it.

people don't read the stuff you sign. It says you are not allowed to record on Walmart property if you work for spark or a rider with someone that is doing spark. People, read your contracts. The pay you got was a show up pay. If a order is cancelled and you show up you get a small amount for your time.

when i use Roadie i get alot of issues picking up Walmart orders but when i get one and for some reason or another the order gets canceled or isnt ready they do pay you a certain amount.....Walmart delivers are the worst on any app it gets hectic let alone alot of employees really dont care or just dont take their job seriously idk

OMG i had a strange order with not being able to find the address, here it was in another town like 30 minutes away. i had called the customer telling him i couldn't find the house (in my neighborhood where it was listed and that's why i accepted it) he said this was the 5th time someone from my home depot was trying to deliver that item and that he had canceled it but it kept coming up for drivers. that's really strange. i'm glad it's not just me.

You know it’s interesting but now I think I realize I have been banned from my favorite Walmart at curbside by the employees…hmmmmm…I would get one after another curbside from them and then one day they let me sit outside for an hour and no one brought my order so I had to ask what was up…the employee had the ability to actually cancel it and he told spark corporate I didn’t have room for it in my car which was a straight up lie! Of course I learned he did that from calling customer service and asking why this order wasn’t shown canceled on my app, and why no one came out and said anything to me. So he must have gotten in trouble and they somehow were able to get me removed from receiving curbside?!?! Now all I receive is ‘shop and delivers’…the employees have way too much control over the curbside and make their own decisions. Walmart needs to get control of that!!!!!

This all sounds about right for spark! I Love it when it works but when it doesn’t or the employees are messing up it goes REALLY WRONG! However Spark will pay you for the mess ups (better than DD OR UBER) I also learned if you wait longer than 30 min for an order you are supposed to receive .25 per every min you wait. Customer service told me that! 😬

I was made to sign a trespass for telling a manager I’d go above them for telling me they were out of bags and I needed to deliver groceries without bags. Called security on my next visit and had me sign that paper asked the cop he said I had to sign it. Told me it was just that store then I look at the paper when I get home it says lifetime ban all stores! They don’t want you recording because spark is a job for immigrants. On one of my old job, after most of the assignments were done, one the operation manager, was gone for the day regular supervisor and manager we would think nothing of taking hours breaks, or go to a streak house for lunch all the time , to me when I saw the worker outside of the building , however I am glad that things worked out well for your husband, good luck. Where I live I see those Walmart trash come up on trip radar every so often when doing Uber. It seems no one wants to do those deliveries for $5 plus tip, 35 minutes and 12 miles. I hate doing pickups at Walmart anyways, lazy customers can't go get it themselves and expect someone to drop off their shopping at their door and pay drivers no tip for their time. I go through filming these folks all the time. Course I’m not working for spark and am a normal customer. They’ve told me to turn off the camera and I politely tell them, “no.” My state is a one party consent state meaning it only takes one person consenting to be on video, to record everything. My gf agrees to be video taped… screw the plebs. Florida is an all parties consent state meaning if any of the parties don’t want to be recorded, you can’t legally record them unless there is no reasonable expectation of privacy. It’s Walmart… they have zero reasonable expectation of privacy at any time which is why they have cameras literally everywhere.

This is why I barely do ride alongs inside the buildings anymore. Clients, Employees, Managers....they don't like it and to be honest, I can't blame them. I am not saying you did anything wrong here. From what I saw you didn't but how would you feel if you were outside, on working hours having someone coming by clearly recording and you are in the footage without your permission and not knowing the intent on how the content is being used? That is what I thought about when it came to recording and why I stopped. I agree with you, she could have said it much nicer, she was mad the moment she saw you but confrontation like this, restrictions like this are more preventable without our cameras in the way. Again, I am a creator like you are, you know that, but this is the reason I stopped it. It's risky.
