You can get banned for a few things. If an employee thinks your car is too dirty they can report it and ban you, if you have small children in the car and if you have any type of disagreement (argument) with an employee if that store wants to ban you from coming back there they can. Like someone else said Spark has CHANGED DRASTICALLY from even 6 months ago. Hardly anyone tips ( or Spark is taking the tips) and the base pay went way down. I used to make $20-$30 per trip and here and there get a $16-$19 order and now Im lucky to get a $15 order. High miles no tips or barely tipping on orders not worth dragging in a bunch of groceries and bottled water when you can door dash with a bag or two of food for same amount of money basically

Mind you this gal is a fanatic at keeping her car cleaned and washed almost daily. So I was shocked to hear they reported her for that. Sarah, similar situations happened to me. My husband and I are both drivers and we would drive together to pick up orders. The associate told us to not pickup together. I brought to her attention that we are not the only couple picking together. She didn’t seem too happy with my response. We started to pickup in separate cars. She went on a power trip. She would cancel everytime I would accept an order and swipe that I had arrived. This kept going on for a day until I had enough. I went to their supervisor and explained my situation.

Honestly I know they treated them poorly but they didn't read the policies in the app at sign up- Wal mart is clear that drivers are privy to private information and there are nondiscloser agreements worked into the sign on docs. They agreed to keep wal mart info and client info private when they signed up for the app. To pick up there is a private drive for stores and you're basically in an employee-only area. I don't think wal mart should be treating drivers like employees.

I think there was more to that interaction (on the associate's part) than filming. As a creator I've never been harassed filming at Walmart. Ok, so your husband admited at 2:23 that he read in the Spark agreement with drivers that recording is not allowed when picking up orders. It probably has to do with the potential privacy of customer information being filmed and posted in KZbin videos and other platforms. I've been a Spark driver for a couple of years and have delivered in Oklahoma and Arizona and never had a problem when I've made videos for my channel. It looks like the worker that "barked" at you must've been told about the Spark no video recording policy and tries to enforce it daily, lol. That must feed her power tripping ego. If you look at the sign up process for that app you can tell that Walmart is especially litigious - most of the language in their app is to 'protect their proprietary secrets and information'. Spark is newer so I wonder if they really think they were losing control of their brand because they used to farm orders out to Doordash. this ia exactly why i dont do gig economy work with a friend/spouse passenger in my car. The fact is when you signed the terms of service for spark it specifically stated what you were doing was against the rules. And then they might have let it slide but then she started giving them attitude which in turn led to them flagging your account getting the manager and then banning you from the platform. Jusr conversing with the employees the way she did was unacceptable IMO. You might have been able to get them to reverese your deactivation but now that you have posted evidence of yourself breaking the TOS you no longer have plausible deniability, and probably no chance of getting reactivated. If you take a lesson from this video fellow gig workers its dont bring along passengers in your car with you! All it does is cause problems and is not a good look.

I have nothing good to say about them. I spent 2 years as a salaried manager for them a little over twenty years ago and left in disgust. It hasn't changed.

I had Walmart try accuse me of stealing by high up employees!! I would never steal called spark and talk district manager they apologize and been doing spark almost 2 yrs now with 0 issues. This lady is crazy so thankful employees and other sparks in my area all nice and 0 drama. This isn’t my main store but no more drama after they tried get me deactivated. I would have your husband call and ask spark for a level 2 employee and let them know what happened.

I did spark a couple times, and never again. Those employees think they are cops.

There needs to be a law preventing people from recording others and putting them on the internet without their permission. If found guilty, the person should be fine $10,000 for the first offense. Some people don't want to be recorded and put on the internet. Some people value their privacy or have health issues and don't want the attention. I will never understand why people can't respect that.

I work for ogp and I see a lot of spark drivers on KZbin record, I have never seen in the Walmart policy that spark drivers can’t record us ogp employees that’s so stupid

Send this video to the Spark support team and let them know that you have proof of their unprofessional behavior and I'm almost sure that spark will review it and clearly see that yall were not at fault.if you have to be professional conduct when working so do the Walmart employees.Should have gotten that woman's name so you can report her specifically. . She doesn't have care for your job 3 complaints to the Walmart in a time frame and she will loose her job. This makes me mad because you apologized for recording and she still was disrespectful.

That doesn't make any sense that they would ban you for reccording when most if not all cars have dashcams now... so... i don't get it! SMH

The employee can ban you or even deactivate you. If they see fit. If it a policy than their not much you can do. Lots of youtuber now dont actually film them picking up Spark orders anymore. That worker should of gave you a warning, but it look like you continue to record. So maybe she got fed up. As for shopping at Walmart. I still see people film that process no problem. Your not missing much. Spark is alowly becoming DD 2.0.
