Nez0's Bad Shoppe @ Strickly Sidewayz: 3Racing Sakura D5-RR Pro Red Editon Pre-Assembled Unboxing

I finally got the chance to take a look at the D5 Pro version of the RR spec chassis up close and I love it :D The boss man opened this box up for display and even he likes the way this looks! I took the opportunity to film an unboxing of this D5-RR Pro and noticed that this chassis has aluminum front and rear knuckles which in comparison the YD-2 SX3...does not. I also realized I forgot to show off the awesome sticker sheet that is included in the box lol oopsie. Enjoy the video!

I personally own this chassis in the blue version, and I absolutely love it definitely gives the higher end cars a run for their money when I brought this chassis into my local shop everyone there loved it and said we have never seen blue before on a chassis I'm definitely satisfied about this chassis

Even though I bought the Red Sakura D5 Auper5 Pro I am still looking forward to buying and building this D5 Pro due to chassis design. Great review and description though. Thanks for the info.

Hi there,your video been helping me with rc drifting world.keep the content flowing.btw i have this d5mr kits.and my questions is.are this d5rr kits has the same lenght as MR. Dues to the motor on rr mounted at the back. does this will affected when try 1 to use an pandora AE bodyshell on this d5RR?

Thank you for watching! The D5-RR is a bit longer due to the motor hanging off the back of the chassis plate. Some body shells might be affected due to the this.

How thick are the batteries you are using I just bought this kit and the 2 pieces that are supposed to swivel and secure the battery down are too short. Did you have to modify or do you have thin shortys? Mine are 25mm tall Thank you

The battery hold down pieces are designed for the "Slim Shoty" 2s Lipo batteries, the ones that 2s but in a 1s sized case. You can install some spacers to fit the standard size shorty 2s Lipo as a quick solution.

Mine can't drift good. The steering connect to the servo can't set correctly.

yeah it looks like most of the ebay and amazon links are for the fake knock off versions that have weaker aluminum and belts instead of gear transmissions...don't waste your money on those!
