I think there's more satisfaction in doing your own hair. Learning the feel of the kinks,waves and curl patterns. You can't get that if someone else is taking care of it for you.

Lol i walked in and they had a special going on! $40 press and curl i sat in the chair she looked at me crazy and said $120. I said but the sign out side said $40 she walks out side and brings the sign back in So i left i do my own hair because they act like waists length is a problem! 🙄
@NeziNappsakaNezi7 жыл бұрын
Latoya_the_ Natural LMBO Yes! Waist length hair will be a problem to them, at $40. Salons charges alot of money for our kinks, even, if our hair isn't that long. That's why it's best to learn how to take care of our own hair or have people in our lives, that we trust, to do our hair.

Hi Nezi, today is the first day I started viewing your videos so I’m a but late to the game but right on time. Lol I just wanted to let you know that you now have yet another subscriber. What really pulled me in was your videos on the use of “hair grease”, this video right here on the LCO method which I found after much experimenting works best for me and your opinions on the sulfate issue. For the years that my hair was it’s healthiest I was using those very products and in some cases I would also add my own essential oil blends to take it to the next level. Anyway I like that you’re so relatable and though I’m subscribed to several natural hair KZbinrs that I enjoy, watching your videos and listening you is just like chat with a good friend or favorite cousin giving you the inside scoop, the real deal on hair care. Also I’m at a point in my life where I have to watch the dollars and be practical yet effective. And your beautiful, health hair is proof enough for me that you know what time it is. Keep up the great work and I plan to marathon all your video. Looking forward to more videos on this and the other subjects you mentioned in your latest

You're welcome and thank you for your lovely compliments! I'm not sure about my porosity. I never understood it, but, the crown absorbs products quickly, the sides and back have to be saturated with water, in order for the product to peneatrate. Also, the sides and back dries slightly quicker than the crown.

I was natural 10yrs. Then 2017 i cut ALL my hair off & got a relaxer. By Dec 2017 all my hair was back to the length it was b4 i cut it & relaxed it. So im still relaxed now but I really want to Big chop & go back natural bc this permed her is sooooo much harder to keep healthy, in my opinion. & being natural it just was so much simpler & easier to me. I just got tired of how thick it was & shrinkage.... but even relaxed its still thick & tends to shrink. & i was just trying a change & im over relaxed hair already lol & its only been 1yr n 8months

I love your personality and your videos... I have a question for an expert like you: I bought some pink lotion which is a hair oil lotion. How should I use it with hair grease please? Before? As a refresher during the week? Thanks for your insight
@NeziNappsakaNezi4 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your kind words! xo Actually, you can use it, whenever, you feel it's necessary. I would use it, before, I put the grease on while my hair is wet. I normally wear protective styles, so it's very seldom I would use it as a refresher, because the grease has already sealed in the moisture. However, the cold air will sometimes dry out the outer layer of my hair, although, the inside of my twists/braids are still moisturized. I would add some moisturizer on the outer layer, so that my hair can be refreshened and not look dull. I go by what my hands tell me and what my eyes, sees. You're welcome:-D

Hey Nezi 👋🏽 Do you think it’s ok to use water to hydrate and then use a sealing cream (a cream that contains mineral oil, petrolatum, cones, etc (Pantene gold series Butter Creme)) to lock the moisture in? I figured since the cream has the properties of grease, I don’t have to use grease on top? I like to use grease on my scalp though.
@NeziNappsakaNezi7 жыл бұрын
Ash_brii Yes, I do think it's okay. There's no rule that you have to put oil on top of your cream. That Pantene product you mentioned, sounds, like, it's a double duty or 2 in 1 product. So, there's no need to put oil on top, unless, you want to. You use products that makes sense to you and your hair. It's your hair regimen and you make the rules. Great question😊

You do realize you are using the same technique on both sides. The only difference is the products you are using. Don’t understand the point of this video unless you were trying to compare products, which you weren’t. This is the problem I have with naturals on KZbin, they be trying to educate people on natural hair and techniques when they themselves don’t know what they are talking about. With that being said, don’t take everything you are being told on KZbin as gospel.
@NeziNappsakaNezi6 жыл бұрын
You do realize, that this video is not about technique, but, the use of products. Clearly, you wanted to see something in this video to complain about. So, with that being said, if you don't like watching, Naturals, educating their viewers, then, maybe you should stop watching them. You are one of these, Natural Hair Nazies, that go to natural hair videos and complain about uneccessary stuff. The Gospel on KZbin won't change.
