Instrumental used made by: H3 Music How Could You Leave Us | Cleanin' Out My Closet It's surprising how a mashup of NF and Eminem hasn't been attempted by anyone before. Enjoy ;D

In this mash up its like they're one person. Each one is from a different perspective of a death, one thats emotional and cares, the other side is hate. So this is just like what it will feel like of actually experiencing death you might have two perspectives or feelings about it.

I love how they play off of each other! Eminem is the older angrier brother at their mom, feeling both insecure and protective about what happened and is just lashing out; while NF is the younger more pure son as if he doesn't understand the pain, similar in how a teenage brother reacts to their parents death in comparison to a younger one. I wish you didn't mute some of his curses because I think in the context of this mashup, Eminem acting like a more rash teenager works perfectly for that. But still it's amazing!! Really hope you make another one for #perception
@komo0075 жыл бұрын
Honestly, if you're a diehard NF fan like me, You would see that NF never really forgived his mom for what she did. Plus, his music is more aggressive than you make it sound, but not too aggressive! And I see why you think Eminem is more aggressive in a way. In the picture he looks mad and NF doesnt. Also, when Eminem sings(or raps), it sounds like hes not singing, and when NF sings (or raps), you can actually hear how hes singing. Both artists are quite amazing! But I honesty prefer NF...(my opinion)

I mean I'm late but like.. [Nate] I wish you were here… I mean, you should’ve been there for us.. I wish you were here. Them pills got you, right? Them pills got you, right?! How could you leave so unexpected? We waited. We waited. For you, but you just left us. We needed you. I needed you. [Em] Have you ever been hated or discriminated against? I have, I've been protested and demonstrated against Picket signs for my wicked rhymes, look at the times Sick as the mind of the motherfucking kid that's behind All this commotion emotions run deep as ocean's exploding Tempers flaring from parents just blow 'em off and keep going Not taking nothing from no one give 'em hell long as I'm breathing Keep kicking ass in the morning and taking names in the evening Leave 'em with a taste as sour as vinegar in they mouth See they can trigger me, but they'll never figure me out Look at me now, I bet ya probably sick of me now ain't you momma? I'mma make you look so ridiculous now [Nate] Yo, I don't know what it's like to be addicted to pills But I do know what it's like to be a witness it kills Mama told me she love me, I'm thinking this isn't real I think of you when I get a whiff of that cigarette smell, yeah Welcome to the bottom of hell They say pain is a prison, let me out of my cell You say you proud of me, but you don't know me that well Sit in my room, tears running down my face and I yell Into my pillowcases, say you’re coming to get us Then call a minute later just to tell us you not, I'm humiliated I'm in a room with a parent that I don't barely know Some lady in the corner watching us, while she taking notes I don't get it mom, don't you want to watch your babies grow? I guess pills are more important, all you have to say is no But you won't do it will you? You gon' keep popping 'til them pills kill you I know you’re gone but I can still feel you [Em] Now I would never diss my own momma just to get recognition Take a second to listen for who you think this record is dissing But put yourself in my position, just try to envision Witnessing your momma popping prescription pills in the kitchen Bitching that someone's always going through her purse and shit's missing Going through public housing systems, victim of Munchhausen's Syndrome My whole life I was made to believe I was sick when I wasn't 'Til I grew up, now I blew up, it makes you sick to ya stomach Doesn't it? Wasn't it the reason you made that CD for me Ma? So you could try to justify the way you treated me Ma? But guess what? You're getting older now and it's cold when you're lonely And Nathan's growing up so quick he's gonna know that you're phony And Hailie's getting so big now, you should see her, she's beautiful But you'll never see her, she won't even be at your funeral! See what hurts me the most is you won't admit you was wrong Bitch do your song, keep telling yourself that you was a mom! But how dare you try to take what you didn't help me to get You selfish bitch, I hope you fucking burn in hell for this shit Remember when Ronnie died and you said you wished it was me? Well guess what, I am dead, dead to you as can be! [Nate] Our last conversation, you and I sat in the living room Talking 'bout my music and I brought you something to listen to You started crying, telling me this isn't you (whinin to me, crying) Couple weeks later, guess you were singing a different tune You took them pills for the last time, didn't you? (You always say “this is the last time”) They took you from us once, guess they came back to finish you Crying my eyes out in the studio is difficult (look at me now.) Music is the only place that I can go to speak to you It took everything inside of me to not scream at your funeral (if only you could see it) Sitting in my chair, that person talking was pitiful I wish you were here mama but every time I picture you (I’m sorry mama!) All I feel is pain, I hate the way I remember you (I never meant to hurt you) They found you on the floor, I could tell that you felt hollow Gave everything you had plus your life to them pill bottles (you taking all you had) You gave everything you had plus your life to them pill bottles (yeah, I bet you will..) Don't know if you hear me or not, but if you still watching why Why would you leave us? Why would you leave us? How could you leave us here? How would you leave us? Why would you leave us?

Something I would recommend is at the end when you have the both of them speaking at the end, pan their voices to the left and right which will in turn make it easier to understand and give the mashup more of an in depth feeling like the listener is actually there in between the two of them as they're yelling back and forth. Truth is, NF just might not be able to go pass Eminem's legendary status.. BUT with d time he will create his own brand and be a remarkable rapper.. Just like Em, NF got d flow, sick rhymes, nice music/tunes & aggression in his raps.. He got a long way to go & he will succeed.. 👊

I dunno. I don't think he can achieve the same main stream appeal Eminem had. I mean his third album is about to drop and he's only just starting to blow up. Eminem blew up with his first studio song. NF is insanely talented but I think Em just has a lot more range.

+hyperlinkvscloud entitled* I believe Eminem is talented, he's been in the game for ages, but NF brings more depth into his music and puts more emotion and heart into his lyrics. I think of Eminem as more of a savage that doesn't need to prove of his rightful spot in the rap idustry, he doesn't need to be told how good he is, he's been grinding to get to the top and he's made it. NF on the other hand isn't as well known, but everyone that listens to him find ways to relate with his pain and immediately get drawn to his music. I've listened to eminem and rapped to his music ever since 2008 and I heard about NF in 2013 and there isn't a single song that I've listened to that I don't like, most of them I can relate to and makes the songs that much more meaningful to me. I personally enjoy listening to NF a little more, but that's my opinion
@Ssj-Ragnarok8 жыл бұрын
em was the original real rapper who was deep rapping about his own life. rapping about not being able to be as good of a father as he wanted to be, about his mom like this song or about his wife. I see nf as what em was just more tame. and that's still a compliment. em was/is definitely more savage though regardless.
@Ssj-Ragnarok8 жыл бұрын
but yeah I was instantly hooked once I heard how could you leave us. I've already heard intro a amazing song (thanks to nfl 16) but when I heard how could you leave us. I instantly related because virtually word for word it was my childhood with my mom. so yeah I may connect better with nf because of that alone. but em is just well the rap God. speed/meaning/heart/lyrics/ect...

I love they play each other so well. Em is the angry part of it, the one that's aware of all the mom did, Nate is the one that doesn't understand what happened, that feels he wasn't worthy of his mom's love. Add the fact that Em's brother name is Nathan and both had the CDC around is astounding. Both of them are passionate, but is like a yin and yang, the balance of anger of one and resolution of the other.
