I listen to both artists' music and they are both good artists. Both their music are really nice to listen to when angry and let down by someone. But I don't think I have to tell you that Olivia's album is more general for people to relate to (sour is mostly angry and hurt songs about a break up), Nf has good music, but he is not for everyone and not everyone can relate to all his topics. Also, her music is way easier to find because people already knew her from shows she's starred in. I mean, nf's song let you down is more mainstream because most people can relate to it (it's about letting someone down which most people can relate to in some way and somebody else letting him down - also it's a very confusing song where he first talks about letting someone down and then being angry at her). But even if more people could find his music, again, his music is not for everyone. "It's too depressing" or negative for some people, which I understand. Some songs are a little too pessimistic for me too, but I think most of his angry lyrics and songs are justified anger that not everybody understands. So yeah he'll probably always be underrated. Also, I saw a video where someone said his songs are too similar to another and he made some good points in it. Still love NF though. He is one of my favorite artists. But I also like how passionate and honest he is. He's not a hypocrite. He's real (ain't that the slogan nathan)

This song literally means the world to me. It felt like NF was telling my story through the video and the lyrics. I was in a car accident where my ex of a 9 year relationship almost died. However, I ended up saving his life. After that, and even a little bit before that, he started changing on me. He wasn't himself anymore, and I couldn't even look at a picture of him without feeling some type of way. I had to put all of our pictures away. He would act like I didn't even matter or exist, and refused to talk to me. He cheated on me, and I couldn't bear to ask with who. Not only all of those details were expressed in this amazing and moving song, but MANY more details are included as well. It was chilling how accurate and close to home this song hit to me. I'm a huge NF fan, and I cried when I saw him in concert. I know every lyric to every one of his songs, and listen to every song on repeat, every day. There isn't one song of NF's that I dislike to be honest, and it's indescribable as to how much I relate to every freaking song. "Real Music till the day we die"~NFrealmusic I LOVE YOU NF!!!!!!

Yeah, yeah, only time you ever call me is when you feelin' like don't nobody else wanna listen When's the last time you saw me You probably don't remember that 'cause that was back then you were different I don't wanna hear the sorry's I'm tired of all the talkin' to be honest I would rather see a difference Yeah, you pass me in the hallway But you ain't say a word to me Lately all I ever feel is distant You don't care that you lost me What's wrong with ya Had a picture of you sittin' on the dash in the car with me Now it's in my closet with the other ones sittin' in a box I don't wanna open up You took it all from me You told me you would die for me Yeah, all you ever do is lie to me Wish that I could say that this has come as surprise to me Tell me that I never took the time and now you ain't got the time for me, yeah I just wanna know oh, oh, oh, oh When did you get so cold oh, oh, oh What happened to your soul oh oh oh Don't you see me Yeah, we used to talk like best friends I remember that I guess I don't know what happened to us Now you got me questionin' what trust is You told me you would be there for me Yeah, but you ain't really mean it did ya Now you wanna jump ship Leave me here alone Well, I'm used to it Everybody else did Who you havin' fun with Don't tell me I don't wanna know every time I ask I just feel sick You're the one that jumped in Told me you had some feelins Now you tryin' to tell me that is not true I ain't gotta clue Who I'm lookin' at right now, but I know the person that I'm lookin' at is not you Yeah They say that you are who you hang with Maybe that's the reason you been changin' Maybe that's the reason why I'm feelin' like you're dangerous And every time we talk it's like I'm talkin' to a stranger I just wanna know oh, oh, oh, oh When did you get so cold oh, oh, oh What happened to your soul oh oh oh Don't you see me I thought that we were close But now that door is closed When did we lose control Guess you don't need me I just wanna know oh, oh, oh, oh When did you get so cold What happened to your soul Don't you see me I thought that we were close But now that door is closed When did we lose control Guess you don't need me

I would say NF is the top out of all right now and he will be. Every artist just busts out with these songs about one night stands and drugs. This guy is preaching real life situations right here. God will surely bless him more in life.I'll keep you in my prayers NF. Keep on preaching and don't give up.

+Selena Benavente If you like this kind of lyrical content you should check out twenty one pilots. The singer writes some amazingly thoughtful lyrics about what life is to him and the drummer plays with more passion than I've seen anywhere else. If you like this style of music you might like the songs Lane Boy, Heavydirtysoul or Fairly Local.

The visuals and the lyrics relate to me separately as in the lyrics bring back one set of memories and personal experience and the visuals bring back a different set of memories ones that still haunt me and give me nightmares. It's amazing that a person can relate so much to music. NF is such a genuine person and artist who writes truth and about real things not just for the popularity and the money and there's not much of that around anymore. I consider it something of an honour for you to have gone through what you went through in your life although probably all not good they made you who you are today and gotten you to the point where you use music as an outlet for those experiences, something we can all relate to. Thank You.

I can so relate to every line in this song. I'll never tell another female I love her. I gave her my best and my loyalty yet she mopped the floor with my heart. Bro's be careful who you give your heart to and who you open up yourself to.

Gael Miles I can totally relate, she also changed. I also thought she was the one, it was all perfect in the beggining then she changed into something I never would've imagined. Thanks to her I don't think I can love again the same way I used to.
@gaelmiles52048 жыл бұрын
Mauricio Marioni just let yourself hurt, cry and cry and cry until you feel hollow... you're allowed to. the crying in a way calms a brain and eventually it won't hurt so much... get a sad Playlist and just listen to it every night, it's part of the grieving process, you're just speeding it up.
@mauriciomarioni60488 жыл бұрын
Gael Miles Wow you remind me of me to some extent, I already sorta of did that, lol I'm man enough to say yes I did cry over a girl, but she was special. She was the first girl I truly loved, I'll eventually get over her. And I'm also sorry something similar happened to you, you wanna know something? it was his lose. I don't even know you and I bet you are a very awesome person.
@gaelmiles52048 жыл бұрын
Mauricio Marioni I can tell you this now, she lost out on something incredible. For a guy to cry over a girl is special, and I hope I find a guy who loves me enough to cry over me. you'll get over her eventually, and good too, because from the sounds of it she really isn't worth your time.
