NF is such an amazing actor in his videos. He writes with emotion, and raps with so much rawness!! I am 46, and I totally relate to him in so many ways!! He is wise beyond his age. The wreck is symbolic of a broken relationship. Such a genius!

The way I hear it, being vulnerable and open about his emotional state allows the raw emotion to infiltrate his vocal performance. It's an authenticity that allows for greater empathy from the audience.

Rosalie, I saw that NF said in an interview that this song was metaphorical for all the relationships that he had in his past that crashed and burned until he met his wife(Bridgette). If Nate ever wanted to quit the music industry he'd be one hell of an actor or director of some sort.

Love NF because he can be relatable. He puts himself out there and we can identify with him at times. He is real no frontin no fake ness. Easier to relate to real Music. Reaction sounds great hearing you work out some bugs in the signal , sound clear . 👍🏼👍🏼

I don’t think the video is showing a literal car crash. I think it’s symbolic. Ending an marriage/relationship is very similar to losing a loved one. The emotional roller coaster you go threw is very similar. I think that’s what he is trying to convey throw the video

I agree...Nate definitely likes to use symbolism in his videos

I believe he has talked about his mother's overdose being an accident. My thinking is that this video creation is a way to represent that there is more than one way to lose someone by... accident . You touched on it with your commentary ❤

Wow. This one hits hard! Last month my relationship of 6 years ended, it’s hard to go through this. At least I got my focus on something completely different, which is that I am going on my first Thru-hike this year. That helps a lot, but I still miss her from time to time.

Check out the song "Cure my Tragedy" by Cold. It starts as a letter to his sister who was dying from brain cancer then it turns into a prayer for God to save her. Very powerful. She was eventually cured.
