Yeah. This song is clearly written towards Christians who are only Christian when it's convenient for them, and people trying to tell convince him he's wrong for believing. He ain't out here tryin' to tell people they have to believe what he does. Whether you believe in a higher power or not, one thing we should all be able to understand is loving one another and respecting each other's right to live. Not just survive, but truly live. Truly a beautiful song, for all the things it's intended to be.

@@Fairygrl_TW @Fairygrl I hear ya! I was raised in a fundamentalist Pentecostal Evangelical cult. Dogma & doctrine are nothing more than an instrument for one group of people to exert power and control over another group of people by writing a big forged book of fairy tales for grown-ups, which is really sick and diabolical. I don't even really believe in the concept of a god - or at least I don't use that word because it just has way too many Christian connotations and people think you mean one thing when you're talking about something else. I think it's pretty obvious from the intricacies of the universe that there is something bigger out there, but I have no idea who, what, or where it is/they are. I think people who claim to know those things - especially the ones who believe they have a monopoly on absolute truth and everyone else is damned - are speaking from the height of arrogance. No one has been able to prove it to me. I tend to believe things that can be proven with data-driven facts & quantifiable evidence... life just makes more sense to me that way, ya know? Call me crazy! I guess you can say I do trash religion as evidenced by the fact that I think all religions are equally ridiculous. 🤷‍♀️ I won't just go off on somebody because they are religious, but if they try to make those kind of claims to me that I am not "saved", or am otherwise out of favor with their Supreme being, and especially if they try to insert their religion into directly affecting my life, the government, and the laws of the land -- well yeah, then I will go off and I think deservedly so. Aaaand aaanyyywhooo... I will now step down for my soapbox. 😄

@@ImaCatMaia I totally understand Southern Baptist raised in a Christain school. Learned its all fakery. I do believe in God thru science and Historical documentation. I studied a lot because I was seeing so many lies and corruption. I believe God will put in your heart what he needs from you and you form a personal connection, just try to discern what Hes calling from you, like you gut feelings. Every religion believes in a higher power but man corruptness twist the true meaning of faith, love and understanding. All He has ever required is faith as big as a mustard seed, to love Him and each other. Thats it. Not all the crazy, the repetitive babble, not the love of money (tithes/offerings) or power, not bigger churches, His church is wherever you are, its not obeying the laws of the land only His laws to love Him and each other. So called Christians are being pure evil these days, I agree and believe they will pay, Karma is powerful. Love having discussions. I dont get to much unless its in comments, lol. Alone in this house for yrs, cant get out, and since covid people cant come in, Im to high risk, so high risk they still havent allowed my the vaccine. So its lonely for a hippie nature freak to be couped up with tech, lol..Im off my soap box now, lmao. Peace doll.
