All his music is linked but the video's the cage in the background is from one of the past video so was the cart and the balloons hence the reason he says he doesn't know if he is making movies or music videos they all have a meaning inside of it and they all are connected the balloons in this he refereed to as a burden with the shopping cart hinting towards the thought that those items were to represent his burdens holding him back dragging him slowing him down that's why he chose those items and did the video the way he did. Not to mention NF has worked extremely hard with the symbolism in his music videos and lyrics and no can know the absolute true meaning of his music.

Just thought of something. He talks about how the “burdens” or demons will “come up out of nowhere like an evil surprise”, I think that’s represented by the random beat drops throughout the song. They happen a few times throughout the song, and they sound ominous and evil.
@numayerhossainlimon64135 жыл бұрын
If you want to understand those things then you need to check out NF,s OUTCAST And WHY
@devlinpatrick8875 жыл бұрын
His songs are essentially a giant story. Im gonna try and fill you in as these things relate to the video here. NF has a song called mansion which talks about the thoughts trapped inside is "mind" or as he is referring to it his Mansion (Definitely listen to "Mansion" before "Intro III as its essentially a sequal). He then uses the cage as a symbol of him essentially being trapped in his mind/mansion which he introduced in "outcast" (another banger); He then has a single called "Why" where the balloons are introduced to symbolize his burdens he carries around. As it all relates to this track is he is essentially finally making an effort to escape his mind as seen by the cage being behind him and having taken a break from releasing new music and such but as with anyone he still carries some burdons (ballons) with him and as he explains ways that he has tried to get over it he is attacking the ballons and trying to get rid of some of that baggage. This only scratches the surface of the rollarcoaster NF can take you on and I am glad you are now along for the ride.

The cage in the background, balloons, shopping cart, all represent something to do with his past, burdens, and problems. He’s walking away from the cage from Outcast, leaving that behind, he has a few balloons with him from WHY which represents the burdens, and the shopping cart to go with it from WHY, but he’s finally back now, and the white clothes at the end represents him finding hope, purity, happiness. He’s an amazing artist, with tons of God given talent, and boy, does he use them to drop 🔥. He’s also super deep, so if you wanna figure out the symbolism better you probably gotta watch/listen some of his other stuff a little more, but keep dropping these videos man, these are great.

The balloons represent his burdens. That's why he tries to beat them down I think I heard a few theories. The one that makes most sense to me is the balloons represent his burdens and how he tried to leave them behind but brought a few with him. The people in white represents his mental states (they seem to look like patients in a mental hospital) how they follow him around, the lady laying down on the bench is his mental state after losing his mom. The cart represent what he is holding in because a cart is something used to store stuff so he cant get rid of his cart because that's what's storing his burdens. The cage as we seen in outcast is his feeling of being trapped in his own conscience and why you see it in the background is to show him trying to move past all this. The journey he talks about in this song is the journey of him trying to leave all this behind. But I also think this is art to be interpreted differently from other perspectives

JAY THE HIP HOP COMMUNITY NEEDS YOUR COMMENTARY FOR ALL THESE NEW VIDEOS!!!!
@joshuaclutter38185 жыл бұрын
First and foremost welcome to the NF Train. If you like this song and want to know more about the backstory behind the music, this comment will explain some of it... BUT, If you want to listen to more of his music.. I HIGHLY suggest going in order, all of his songs and albums are one big storyline and all tie into eachother in some way.. Now, onto things shown in the video ... The black balloons symbolize his regrets/sadness he's lugging around (featured in NF - WHY) .. Also, the people walking in the background may symbolize his inner demons/angels aswell as others with less burdens because they are carrying less balloons (we'll find out on his forth album) .. The cage in the background symbolizes the industry he feels he is trapped inside aswell as the box people put him in, a sub-meaning is he feels trapped in his own mind. (Featured in NF - Outcast). The cage showing up behind him as he is walking away from it in the video may mean he is breaking out of the mold with this next album. The woman on the park bench in the video is symbolic of his mother and the balloons tied to her mean sadness caused by remembering (featured in NF - How could you leave us) .... Some insight from someone who is a NF fanatic LOL... Everything ties together from Intro 1 on his first album all the way to this song and will continue with his 4th album ...

The black balloons symbolize his burdens and he tied them to the shopping cart because they follow him everywhere he goes. The cage in the back was from the OUTCAST video where he was stuck in the cage. NF has evolved which the white suite at the end symbolizes him getting out of that negative shit he was in last year. Hes no longer in that dark place.
