I remember buying his cd when no one knew who he was and forcing all my friends to listen to it everytime they were around me. The birth of the joker smile. And yes. You’ve seen it. Nate connects ALL of his albums and references them in later work. For example in the search music video he’s walking from a cage. You’ll learn what the cage is for but it’s from the perception album which is after therapy session. So he got free from the cage (from his last album) and starts the search. If you look at the video again you’ll notice the cage there. He had it flown to Iceland for that video shoot bc it meant so much to connect. PMD is another example. All outfits and locations he has in that music video are from prior music videos or descriptions in songs. PMD is a shot at rolling stone after the search got billboard number 1 album over chance the rapper. They were bitter and so he’s saying he has paid his dues.

Seems kinda odd that NF would get death threats for being real, sharing the horrors he endured by the grace of God to help others rise from the pit while mainstream rappers are glorified for rapping about degrading women, killing cops, doing dope, disrespecting authority, and everything else that sends people to prison. Thank you AB for letting us share the NF journey with you, if this has helped save but one life because of his ministry because that’s what it really is, then it’s worth it. Suggestion, I get doing songs in order with NF because he’s a truth story teller but for any songs you missed on previous albums, I say finish up the one you’re on first, then go immediately back to the one(s) missed. Knock those few out then proceed to the next album. 🙏

I can’t rap period so I can’t say but Nate’s mad skills are evident, he’s truly a lyrical genius and clean and I appreciate that even more. NF is a Christian but doesn’t sugarcoat his flaws because he understands he’s not perfect hence real music. NF spits raps with purpose not profanity. I’m enjoying the NF journey with AB and friends.
