MP5 was the first full auto I fired. Still the best. The most fun however was easily a Thompson. People in their thirties now have a connection to guns like the MP5 and 92FS because of the movie Die Hard. Come to think of it, all the guns in that movie were superb. The price point is not outlandish when you consider the amount people pay for semi-custom handguns. Great video.

How is the channel underrated exactly? Cause it should have more views? I wish I had a channel half as "underrated" as nfa. I would get paid by KZbin, comp'd suites in vegas for shot show, get massive amounts of free guns and ammo to review, oh yea and all the biggest suppressor manufacturers bringing me cans to shoot, friends with machine guns, friends with a massive amount of big wigs in the industry, the list goes on. I guess underrated to me would mean something different. Plus I am pretty certain that new content umbrella he uploads under more than likely gave him a pretty "underrated" contract as well, I would bet more than enough cheese to make this his full time gig. Sounds pretty rated, and climbing to me. As he should.

I meant from the youtube side, and not the industry side. It's shocking to me how "low" his subscriber count is compared to other gun channels. Especially considering he is one of the few and maybe only channels doing silencer tests/reviews this in depth.

I've had mine for just over 4 years I think, my Form 1 took almost a year to come back. Been running it HARD since Sept 2013 since my Form 1 came back. We featured it on our site for a review. I will say that I would sell everyone of my other guns before I get rid of my D54. Buy once cry once,

Maybe one day the supply will catch up to the demand and the prices will be more reasonable. I still want one though. MP5 is just so sexy. That hush ammo and can combo was AWESOME. I couldn't help but giggle when you put the camera downrange. Great video, thanks for sharing!

Check out the POF MP5 or the Zenith.. look up at Atlantic Firearms.. I think they have some in stock 1700 or so... better than 4K$

Lots of good options in sub $2,000 roller locks. We could easily produce a firearm in that price point as well however we would have to make compromises in both the quality of parts we use and the attention to detail we put into manufacturing. When we started producing roller locks in 2009 we made the decision that we would produce firearms to a quality expectation not a price point.

Yeah I have looked at the other options. Better in price, but not justifiable for me as just a range toy. I also don't like the idea of paying nearly 2k or more for a stamped receiver gun that isn't even in rifle configuration. At that point I would rather have another 2011. One day I will get one though when the price drops or I feel like dropping the cash on it. They are incredibly fun to shoot.

What mount did you use to mount the Omega 9k to the barrel? The Silencerco 3 lug mount is much longer.

Im using the Griffin Armament internal 3 lug. The Rugged Suppressor 3-lug will work as well.

How does one go about making a MP5 full auto? A registered sear trigger PAC? And if so how much are they on average and how common?

Most buy the DT series MP5's as hosts for a transferrable registered sear pack. I just saw a pack sell for $31,000. Thats the cost of a closed machine-gun registry and a limited amount of transferrables to go around. The other way is for a FFL/SOT 07/02 manufacturer to build their own from a readily available pack, and register it with the ATF. A licensee who holds the license, makes the machine gun, then TELLS the ATF they made one. Instant satisfaction. The ATF only allows a couple of a certain model for T&E business purposes and technically they have zero value as they cannot sell them to civilians.
