Made me tear up so bad. I ended up remembering my late grandma. It's been three years since she passed away. I'm not asking for sympathy nor seeking for attention but at 15, my biggest regret was not visiting her when she was sick in bed with cancer even when everyday she'd ask for me. I knew she was dying but I focused more on my schoolwork. During the funeral I remember my uncle saying that she was depressed because of me. I, out of 4 cousins was I guess the favorite and she wanted to spoil me a lot. Some nights I still find myself remembering her and cry. To those who have sick loved ones, visit them before it's too late. Lower your ego, because who knows in the future, it can be the biggest regret in your life.

I've got a cold, so maybe am a bit more of a pussy than normal, my grandaughter is here for the summer, playing a game right now and has no idea how hard I am sobbing. It's the middle of the day, better pull myself together! Your Grandma was 15 once, I bet she understood. The only way you can honor her now is to keep her memory alive like you just did, (ha, ha, looks like 3 years ago, do it again sometime!).

What a charming piece. I felt for Bob in the hospital. Everyone talked (at him) but not too him. Maybe if they had sat down and talked too him they would have found out earlier his likes and dislikes, but most people are in too much of a hurry these days for that. Thank you

I just got out of the the hospital ( my appendix exploded ) I really when through hell for many days. Hearing people screaming and crying with pain every night was very horrifying. Unlike uncle Bob I was on bed with medications every day. I'm glad my nightmare is over! I didnt want anything to remind me the life in the hospital, but watching uncle Bob progress through the animation was very pleasing for me, because that's all you can wish for someone who is the hospital. To get better.

I can relate. February 7, 2019: I ended up in the local hospital with sepsis from a bacterial infection. 105.7F temperature. 8 days in the hospital, 21 days in rehab getting very strong IV antibiotic. If it weren't for my housemate visiting every other day, I would have had a worse time. It was a month before I saw my dog again. You bet I'm staying home during the pandemic! Stay safe and wash your hands!

I’m a registered nurse who works in a hospital and I would say this is pretty accurate to what happens to older adults who end up in the hospital for the first time in their lives. All of a sudden they can’t do things independently and have a laundry list of medications to take every day for the rest of their lives. It can be overwhelming especially if they live alone. Thankfully the guy depicted in this video had a good supportive family but a lot of the time that isn’t the case.
