To be honest I was searching for the movie, not this. However when I saw them I had to watch it because I remembered seeing them do this liveand I wanted to see it again. I'm a senior this year, but they went to my high school and in 8th grade they came to my middle school and performed this. They were the reason I joined interp. I'm so incredibly thankful and props of them. Freshman year they helped me a bit because they used to go to the same one and my teacher would have them come help the novices. It was great seeing this again.

My friend and I were set to perform this February 22nd... Then Parkland happened just a week and a day before. Due to time restraints and having already practiced for a month, we could do nothing but perform it. By far one of the hardest pieces to do, especially at such a raw time.

I did a serious on Hello Herman. I made Herman a kid who wanted to be someone he's not. I made him a cross between Joker, his craziness and laugh, and Hannibal Lecter, the calmness, stare, and his movements. Herman is the most relatable character only because he is the one who gets to a point of breaking down into someone he's not. Lax is the perfect counterpart with Lax breaking down to kill a young boy and seeing that it haunts him. Both Herman and Lax have regrets about killing, but Lax was able to move away from ot while Herman embarrasses it. They are the same but two different sides. Herman is the one who brings an idea to life while Lax was the one who killed an idea which was the KKK.
