It’s crazy the amount of helmets I’ve seen get knocked off players this preseason. Not sure if it’s just players going for broke when tackling trying to get a spot or are they not getting properly fit for helmets?

Players just strapping up one side of the helmet and/or using helmets that are too big for their heads too. But most def they arent strapping up both sides tight enough as they should

That absolutely should have been a penalty by the current rulebook. Under the old rules it was called spearing, but I believe now they just call "leading with helmet" on the tackle. From the pre-season games I've watched this year, there have been many non-calls that you would see called in the regular season

Its just amazing how you can't hit the qb anymore. We're grown ass men. Its a brutal gladiator sport and they got men acting like sissies.. but in Rugby those guys over there have no equipment on and they're leveling each other. Still same concept.
