As a Vikings fans I’ll say this is the only game this season that “the outcome of that game would’ve been different if .. insert excuse here” the Vikings have played like crap and have deserved to lose. Heck I berate more vikings fans when they go “oh that was a bs call just because they’re a vikings player” I watch the replay and I go “no that’s a good penalty” 🤷‍♂️ rules are rules and should be called across the board

I as a Chiefs fan agree with you. Now listening to the commentators they were thinking that since they declared no penalty, it was a change of possession which means that he could take the helmet off. And I agree that officiating needs to be more consistent from game to game. Last year Kelce got body slammed and no call. Our guy got called last week. Last year Mahomes received a late hit out of bounds, Bengals got a penalty. Same thing happens to Herbert and that guy got ejected.

Thank you for another great video Budlee. It’s sad to see how bad the reffing continues to be. We have replay, and I know some calls are judgement calls, but why can we not review a play to make sure it was the right call and not just be blatantly wrong time and time again?

The short answer is that it would take up too much time and people wouldn't want to watch a football game that is an extra half hour longer. The lack of consistent, unbiased refereeing in the NFL is going to cause the downfall of the league. Compared to the 70s and 80s, the rate of blatant siding to one of the teams (usually the most "popular", i.e. Patriots and Chiefs) by the officials is laughable to the point of being obvious. The league, which is ran by the owners and who never release any negative information on the officials, have been fixing the winners of certain key games for about 6 years.

Let it go. The reason the Eagles lost is because Hurts fumbled and it got recovered for 6 the other way. I think even he'd agree with that. You put the Birds up by another 7 instead and the game is practically over. Bad calls happen all the time, the Eagles have benefitted from a few bad calls this year so the pendulum swings. We know the NFC is a two team conference so there's a great chance the Eagles make it back. Maybe I'm just patient but I feel like there's another Lombardi trophy heading for the case at the Linc. In Colts vs Titans, I thought a defender had a right to occupy the space they already have. If it was basketball it would be a charge. In Bills vs Jacksonville unnecessary roughness, rewarding bad offense on a ticky tac call makes me mad. The QB threw into quadruple coverage down the middle.

Rule for taking off your helmet- "removal of his helmet by a player in the field of play or the end zone during a celebration or demonstration, or during a confrontation with a game official or any other player." The reason they may not have given the Chiefs player a flag - is it a "confrontation" or just a "discussion" with the ref.

Watching the Vikings vs KC game, 4 penalties that didn’t get called that was blatant in one play all by KC. Hands to the face, roughing the passer, DPI, and the removal of the helmet. DPI was initially called and refs said “nah that’s not a penalty actually” and the helmet removal is automatically a penalty but the refs said to put it back on instead of penalizing him. any other team would’ve been called. and all this happened at a crucial time and quite literally costed the Vikings the game. Whether they would’ve scored or not, we’ll never know because of all those calls that went unnoticed and wrongfully overturned. You cannot tell me the refs are favoring the Chiefs. Didn't another player get penalized for taking his helmet off in a different game that same day?? Why is this different?
