The thing about Tua that is important is how clutch is he. He stays pose and clam and have that Tom Brady clutchness. He was born in the most clutches situation ever. Halftime during a National Championship game. Down 17. As a freshman. Game on the line. Needed a TD being down 4. Took a sack for a negative 11-12 yards. 2nd and 19 and kept calm and threw a dime for a game winning TD. Nothing rattles him. Including a hip injury.

"Size is a skill" … as is availability … Tua is still a risk
@St.SebastianGalasso4 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't want to risk drafting for Tua. Hip injury is serious, and he has shown a penchant for getting hurt. The things that Justin Herbert might be lacking can be taught. Herbert is much more athletic than some of these larger, lumbering QB's that were popular in the 80's and 90's (ie Vinny Testaverde, Drew Bledsoe) , and the idea that he's a weaker prospect because of his play as a Duck is silly. The offense they ran at Oregon was not suited for Herbert, and ultimately should change moving forward (its a crap system). The Dolphins should stand pat, or wait until 2021 when they can likely choose between Trevor Lawrence and Justin Fields.
@cnelsonlv9994 жыл бұрын

The Fins are acquiring a bit of talent already ... and if they keep most/all of their picks this year and hit on a good number of them ... they will win too many games next year to be anywhere close to a top 2 pick (especially with Brady now out of the division).

Can see teams over-evaluating both Herbert/Love and letting them slide in the first-round. Simms is the best in the business at evaluating college players(especialy QBs). Not quite evaluating the ones that have been active for a While cause he has some biases there (said Jamal Adams is a top 2 safety,Brady 10th best QB,AB and Scotty Miller are almost the same and Devante Adams is not a top 10 WR)- he got biases like that for established pros but as far as predicting college ppayers (especially QBs) - Simms is dead roght almost always.

Get your facts straight Simms. Burrow was supposed to be the back up his redshirt sophomore year and then got hurt. Dwayne came in against Michigan and played great.
