Liking this draft right now, we'll see how it really ends up in a few years obviously but overall feels promising given how the rest of the current team is. They could go after a vet edge, corner and guard in free agency still

Is it just me, or does it seem like Masson Smith blamed his lack of production due to “consistent coaching.” Dropping your pad level and proper hand usage are basics you get taught at every level. I hope coaching can fix this but it does seem like he relied on his athleticism too much.

Him being moved to interior for his last year at LSU instead of his natural 3-tech he played in his freshman definitely is a coaching issue and played him out of position. Why blow him off when he hasn’t been given a chance yet at the NFL. I know you are bias towards Trent but geez you are borderline unlikable. I bet you were one of the guys criticizing Travon when he was picked and can’t seem to find nothing to criticize since he had 10 sacks last season.

You could see it that way but he played 3-tech throughout his high school and freshman year. His success in the freshman year led many in pre season to be a first round selection, him being moved to the interior where he never played is a coaching issue. The fact that Matt House was the DC at LSU and his rumored relationship with his DL coach Jimmy Lindsey was bad could affected many players. Him being the Jaguars new LB coach and selecting these players could mean that Matt felt that these players weren’t developed correctly under Lindsey tutelage.

We didn’t get Worthy smh we pick a kicker and not a QB not even in undrafted players. Trevor is not the franchise QB mark my words and in 2 years Doug and Trevor will be gone.

This draft was another let down. I’m so tired of everyone trying to say this draft was good lol. This is why this franchise is stuck in mediocrity. Anyone that thinks this was a good draft clearly is only Looking at traits and not production. Just like Trent! Who’s going to protect Trevor so he can throw the ball downfield? Lol. BTJ is going to let a lot of people down. Everyone says “my best football has yet to come”. What are they going to say? “I played my best and I’m topped out”😂😂. Typical Trent drafting players with injury histories.
