So the Chiefs are expecting too much of Mahomes? Because they have an issue with one position that they have been working to fill? What the hell are they supposed to do? Just not play Mahomes the entire season while they work to fill that position? This entire season it has felt like the media have nit picked everything the chiefs do because they've been desperate to find something wrong with them. While at the same time riding other teams that haven't done a tenth of what the chiefs have done.

When you leave the door open for an eventual upset you increase the odds of an upset. How about developing game specific game plans, And don't keep using the same conservative keep it close, play it safe and allow Mahomes, Butker, Spags and Chris Jones to make the plays to win on the final drive.

Now that Andy Reid appears smart enough to use Perine like E.B. used McKinnon, as well as putting the ball in the best player on the teams hands #15, and allowing him to use his mobility in the redzone they will score more 7's and less 3's in the redzone. If Mahomes is ever allowed to use the 2 minute "no huddle " off and on, he will get into a better rhythm. All while forcing defenses to burn timeouts to get rest and or subs into the game. Thus producing blowouts instead of allowing teams to hang around to eventually pull the upset.

Realistic? The Ravens have only won once against Patrick Mahomes and feel apart in the playoff when the chiefs play them and the Bills make bone head mistakes in the playoffs that lose them games. That's including the lose against the Bengals. But the chiefs, who are getting their injured players back, aren't going to make it? Sure.

I also think they have been squeaking by and I have seen them fall apart in the 90s with a great defense and the 2000s with a great offense. I just think their luck will run out at some point.

So, the chiefs play 9-win Houston, 10-win Pittsburgh and 9-win? Denver to end their season. Every one of these teams has as many wins as Buffalo’s opponents combined. How is 3 games in 11 days with two on the road and 3 out for 4 road games to end the season the NFL scripting a Chiefs “darling” season??? Honestly, these men have fought and struggled and overcome more adversity than I’ve ever seen in a single NFL season sitting at 14-1.
