I never git into sports as a kid. I was a gearhead, loved working on the family cars with my Dad. After I got married and had 2 boys that got into sports my oldest was hockey my youngest football. I asked friend and family teach me the games di when I went to their games I understood the games. I taught my boys that it's okay to be competitive, but also have strong sportsmanship. First time I saw my oldest boy demonstrate this was during a regional championship game. My boys team won. Nith teams played their hearts out. To say I was proud of both teams would be an understatement. When one of the opposing team ayers was just sitting on the ice after the game ended, just completely wrecked by the lose, my boy went over and sat down with him and just talked with him. I'm not sure what they said to each other, but I can imagine my boy telling his opponent how good a job he did. After about 10 minutes, my noy hot up and helped the other ayer up and bith skatwd off the ice together. After everyone was changed into street clothes Kevin asked me and his Mom if their team could invite the other team and their parents to come along to the restuarant we were going to to have dinner. Hell yes, he invited them. At the restuarant both parwnts and players didn't talk about who one or who lost. We talked about specific plays of the players. My boy stood up and toasted the other team for the best and hardest game he and his team had ever played. He was 12 at that time. Watching my boy do that, I left the table and went out side. I man enough to admit that made me cry. I was and am so proud of both my boys. Grew ip to be damned good men. My oldest hraduatwd from U of M with a double doctorate in nio chemistry and human antatomy. He works for a pharmaceutical company that helps people that cant afford their meds get them. My youngest noy always exibited the same sportsmanship when he played football. He's now on his second enlistment in the Air Force as computer tech engineer something like that. Real high tech stuff that Indont understand. I was just a military coo fir 20 years.

I mean, some people just have a competitive nature and see it more as a sort of battlefield, that doesn't mean they're bad people. They just can't be all buddy buddy with the litteral enemy.

@Ding Productions A Big THANK YOU For sharing the Positive Side of the NFL. Far too much is focused on the Bad Behavior. As A Fan it's nice to see the players showing good sportsmanship.

Richard Sherman is actually very sportsmanlike. The reason he yelled during the postgame interview was because Crabtree denied his handshake and the refs flagged him thinking he was taunting Crabtree with the handshake offer.
