First Burrough has started four seasons and Tua only two. Burrough didn't make it in his first two years as the starter either. Burrough had the 10th best o-line in 2022 (SB year) and 17th in 2023 and he went down in every QB stat category. Tua had the 21st o-line in 2022 and 20th in 2023. By the way, both Miami o-lines rankings were with Armistead (their best o-line player) who missed huge ;parts of both seasons. Without him, those two rankings are likely under 25th. Put any QB behind the Miami O-line and see how they would do. As for stats. They are remarkably similar in virtually every category. So, explain again why Tua shouldn't match Burrough's contract? People who debate by stating facts out of context are either dishonest or lazy. My guess, probably both in your case. You either knew the o-line disparity and chose to ignored it (dishonest) our you didn't know it and didn't take the time to research it (lazy). Either way your point isn't valid.

I love my Dolphins, been a fan for 40 years, and Tua is not the answer. We won't have Tyreek forever, and Tua arm strength is a problem. Tyreek always has to come back or slow down.

The fact is this, JB went a much better team situation than TUA did when he got to Miami. But 2024-25 is a new season. Let's see who does what this year. And this applies to all 32 QBS.
