Imagine asking Kurt Warner if he thinks someone who makes the Super Bowl is good enough to be a starter in the NFL. A guy who literally bagged groceries before becoming the starter for a pro NFL team. As someone from STL, his rise to greatness is a story that almost everyone know. Maybe that's why I think this conversation is absolutely absurd about Brock. This isn't a criticism of Suzy, literally everyone is talking about this and asking this question.

Perfect perspective. 49er OL was not in synch especially in pass pro. It’s choreography. One guy misses a step and everyone is out of synch. Biggest 3rd down of the season and no one blocks Chris Jones? It’s an argument against rotating guards, or sliding protection when a simple one on one will do. That onus is not Purdy’s

It was play action. The centre pulled, RG slanted left, RT had three to block and got none of them. Centre should have called it off as soon as he saw how Chris Jones was lined up.

He's the last pick, and took his team to the SB in his first full season. Yes he has studs around him. But the defense regressed this season. Thier O line was ranked 15-22 during the season. Niners would not have been there without him. He unlike Chokers like Allen, Tua, Dak, Jacksson etc gets his team to the final game. At this point there really isn’t anyone else saying Brock isn’t legit top NFL QB. Just talking heads looking for clout, but people don’t argue with stupid forever. Those guys are going to fade honestly. And a lot of talking heads even know that which is why a few flipped completely after this playoff run.

Kurt is right. That defense kept it close, our offense didnt do their part to extend the lead nor did our special teams. U give a great QB enough chances to come back, they usually win.

Here's the thing and you saw it all year, especially against the good defenses.... we can't run to the right... our o line let's too many free rushers in to make any plays. Everyone keeps saying run cmc. He wasn't getting any god damn yards.... because he only has one competent run blocker....as Good as cmc is you can stop him when the o line play is so sub par... this is my biggest criticism of Kyle. Not his play calling his refusal to address the trash o line year after year after year...what did all the great qbs have? Competent o line play at the very least...

There were a million penalties called against the 49ers and they were constantly in 2nd and 15 or worse situations. This allowed KC to tee off on Purdy and the very weak 49er offensive line. The Chiefs have had zero holding calls in two Super Bowls against the 49ers. The game was rigged, and Purdy and the 49ers never had a chance. The NFL was not going to give them a fair game.

Gap exchange vs zone read with a four man front. It's football. The LB took a WR instead of gap exchange and play QB..you weren't there and apart of the defense. You don't know their call or technique. The end is allowed to chase

So many factors against the 49ers. Yes, 9 unblocked pressures on Purdy. Chiefs win 6 out of 8 turnover/recovery battles. Dre Greenlaw's injury, opening up the middle of the field (Burks targeted to defend 9 passes -> 9 receptions, plus big runs by Mahomes up the middle for big yardage and keeping drives going), CMC's fumble that wasn't scored on by the Chiefs but halted a dominant 49ers scoring drive that had the Chiefs' defense back on their heels, the muff punt turnover and immediate Chiefs TD, multiple hold calls on the 49ers but not 1 on the Chiefs the whole game though many holds were visible, the miscue allowing Chris Jones to rush untouched on that critical play when Jennings, CMC and BA were wide open. But the bottom line is that the Chiefs won and deserved the win. They overcame their obstacles and disadvantages and exploited more opportunities than the 49ers were able to do. I think the 49ers actually did extremely well considering the avalanche of problems they confronted. Despite that avalanche they held off Mahomes and the Chiefs for 5 full quarters. With all those problems on the 49ers side the Chiefs still only won by 3 and it took them until the very last seconds of a fifth quarter to defeat the 49ers. This was a devastating loss for the 49ers. BUT it does NOT leave that team in shambles. The organization, the culture, the character of the individual players and coaches... they are the most resilient and RELENTLESS team in the league. You KNOW they will be back next year. This was the closest they've gotten in 29 years, despite the avalanche of problems that kept accumulating. They'll take it next year.

Come on Warner. The beginning of your comments do not match up to the rest of your comments. It’s a team effort, but Purdy did not outplay Mahomes. The numbers bear that out. Purdy had a GREAT year, but the Super Bowl always cones down to a key play that hardly involves the QB or the eventual MVP. There have only been a handful of games that were blow outs.

Kyle handcuffs his qbs that's why qbs under him look ok but how many of em have looked like superstars he micromanages them because he's afraid to make a mistake he doesn't throw the ball deep everything is short or intermediate now that works for the cj beathards and nick mullens of the world you disguise their weaknesses but when you have someone like brock who i think can be the real deal you end up hurting him he wants to let it fly and he's capable of it we've seen it but kyle wants him to stay within his conservative passing system this team needed an o-line and receivers who can create real separation on deep routes last sunday it wasn't the defense it wasn't electing to receive in o.t. it was lack of protection for brock and a lack of a aggression downfield for kyle he's too conservative and he's handcuffing brocks true potential kid should be throwing for 300 and 2tds on the regular but he's stuck in that 230 1 td range because of kyle

Ahhh Kansas had the 2nd best rated defence vs the 5th for the 49ers. The 49ers Offensive line isn't even a top 15 offensive line. 9 unblocked pressures on Purdy. So yeah I would take the Kansas defence over the 49ers. Especially considering that 4 players on the 49ers defence went down during the Superbowl.
