Now that Free Agency and the Draft have wrapped up and we are looking ahead to training camp... we hand out NFL offseason grades for each of the NFC West teams. Stay tuned for all other 7 divisions coming soon.

Don't worry. This is property a seahawks fan. We all know seahawk fans and the city of seattle is just straight up stupid. They live in complete year after year mediocrity in all sports. Just a trash city and sports teams run into the ground.

@@swivelchairsports Guys, really? As someone who used to coach & also train workers, let me point out what you did wrong here. Respond to any potential subscriber as if they are a potential future subscriber. I can't believe I ever have to say that. You could have asked "like what?" Put the person on the spot. Anyone else comes here & reads this reply is not gonna want to comment & this is Yt & comments count. Jeez. Now the video itself. "We're gonna talk about who they lost & who they got." Great. Then you talk about that. Not show a chart with grades on who they got or lost? Just talk _about_ what you think about it on the whole? That totally undercuts the very details you mention. Your letter grade means Absolutely Nothing to anyone but you if you don't justify it. If you go & list "they lost A, got turkey & a side of dressing, now here's what I think about the dressing" wtf is your grade *based on?* "They got Jimmy G. who has experience." Malik Willis has experience too. Are they equal? I'm not saying dive into every detail. But make a list of what they lost & got *at every position* in two columns, compare what are at same positions, rate them as best you can (draftees can't be realistically rated) & _then_ mumble filler about what you think of it. *After* you _SHOW_ that this was or wasn't a good off-season based on all that. It would take seconds. With the chart on-screen you would see what details if any need filling. Without this you're just starting with a promise you're not coming even _close_ to fulfilling, going from "they had an off-season" to "I feel this grade" with almost nothing in between. & I guarantee you that if you make those charts you will see things you missed & alter almost all your grades.

Someday fans will grasp that sometimes you can be more successful just by making smaller adjustments and incremental upgrades. Murphy and Haynes are going to be rock solid contributors. The DL has been upgraded and deeper than its been for a few years.. The interior of the OL will be greatly improved with Olu at center, Bradford and Haynes at the Guard spots address the greatest weakness this team had. Lok, I get it you're not a fan and are looking at the Seahawks through a national media lens. This team is rarely bottom of the barrel in its history. Aside from the Mid 90s they have generally been competitive.

That is a good point, we also loved their draft and probably could’ve had them higher just may have taken into account the relatively quiet free agency too much. Our scale is a work in progress 😂

Yea I just can’t get behind the Seahawks being a D. Lossed pieces in secondary, meanwhile cutting an old washed up Quandre diggs and then signing a very solid Rashawn Jenkins, bring in 2 solid young linebackers, drafting best guard and best dt in draft, a young sam Howell with potential (if you don’t think so compare his rookie year to Josh Allens) who gets to sit behind an experienced vet for a year or two, and if you want to count it, bringing your guy in as head coach who was the best defensive coordinator in football least year? I can understand not “keeping up,” with the rest of the division, but the Seahawks know they aren’t Super Bowl contenders, this is a bridge year to get to that point. No super splashes in fa, but filled some holes. Definitely a B - B+

That’s a fair analysis! Tbh we didn’t really factor in the coaching change and after consideration and reading through some of the comments I do think we were a bit harsh on them mainly due to the fact we couldn’t help but compare their moves to the rest of the division (especially with them being last mentioned) so that probably factored into our low grade more than it should have.

Didn’t feel like the Seahawks did anything, especially compared to the rest of the division. You’re stuck in no man’s land right now same as last season right in the middle of the pack while the 9ers are title contenders, Rams made improvements to a weak secondary and did the best they could replacing Aaron Donald and the Cardinals had the most room to improve and brought in some veteran talent along with 2 first round picks.

@@swivelchairsports that’s not deserving of a D. You’re grading based off of their offseason, not their expected performance going into the year. They got one of the most sought after head coach candidates, one that swept the NFC West while coaching the ravens. They lost Damien Lewis, Bobby Wagner, Quandre Diggs, and Jordyn Brooks. Then replaced them with Christian Haynes in the draft, Tyrel Dodson, Jerome Baker and Rayshawn Jenkins/K’von Wallace. Yes, not all of those are replacements. But they retained Leonard Williams, drafted Byron Murphy and even added to that stacked CB room. I’d say they have very few stellar rooms as a whole, but very few weaknesses right now. A D grade is harsh and doesn’t properly reflect the direction the team is headed.

Their expected performance going into next year does come into play though. We needed some way to determine whether their roster improved and by how much so all we really have to go off of is their performance from last year vs their expected performance (in our opinions) for next year. We expect them to regress hence the D grade.

The Seahawks team are never a big player in free agency so I understand the bad grade as it relates to the offseason. But I have a feeling that grade is going to age poorly. The Seahawks offseason was sneakily good, cutting underperforming players with expensive contracts, buying low on underrated players that y'all just glossed over and amassing comp. picks for 2025. And the Rams getting A's will also age poorly in my estimation. They just lost a hall of fame player from their defense and their D wasn't that good last year. They replaced him with a rookie DT with short arms and poor side to side agility. He doesn't profile to be more than a role player at the NFL level. Just my 2 cents. TLDR: From a roster change perspective, the Seahawks moves may look underwhelming, but there's more to the offseason than just adding and removing players.

Fair enough! We may be overlooking some of the Seahawks moves and I’ll be the first to admit I may be glazing the Rams offseason a bit but I really liked their defensive back additions and Verse was my favorite edge in the draft

I mean the only one you could argue is clickbait really is the Cardinals I guess? Seahawks were low just like the thumb not F but close in our opinions even if you think they’re wrong, 9ers around B just like the thumb, Rams higher than C but we had pretty different opinions so met in the middle… it’s fine if you don’t like our content but idk how this thumbnail could be considered clickbait? It reflects our grades in the video fairly accurately
