I'm surprised we didn't see Connor Cook on the list, who literally only started AS A ROOKIE in his first and only game his whole career for the Raiders against the Texans in a wild card playoff game of all games he could've started. Then he just never started ever again.

Looking back, I dont want ANY shade thrown at Thaddeus Lewis. The 2013 Bills were a revolving door of injury and mediocrity at QB, but Thad Lewis was somehow the most stable of the bunch. While not a superstar by any stretch, his 200 passing yards per game and 4-3 TD/INT ratio is frankly astounding considering his top pass catchers were TJ Graham, Chris Hogan, and Scott Chandler with Stevie Johnson injured most of the season, playing through the middle of the year with a wrapped ankle.

It's funny, cause I remember St. Pierre coming off the bench (not a start) for the Steelers in the final week of the 2004 after Tommy Maddox either sucked the life out of them or got injured. He led a band of backups (the starters were all resting because they already had top seed in the AFC buttoned up, and Ben was injured) to a win over a Bills squad that was desperately trying to win and make the playoffs. I believe he was either playing over his head or did just enough while being carried by others/capitalizing on an implosion (I'd have to really look at a box score for that game to know for sure, the big memory is them reaching 15-1 that day).

Starting one NFL game as a QB, totally stinking up the place, and then never getting a chance to start ever again would totally be a dream come true for most of us. Imagine having an NFL uniform that is actually yours -- as in an actual NFL team issued it to you at some point. Sadly though if you are competitive and talented enough to actually step foot in an NFL training camp then I doubt you feel the same way about only starting in one game.
