People always talk about his speed but his vision and balance were crazy too. Him and AD were the two best RB's I've seen in my lifetime.

It was nice but the 1999-2006 years were better. Marshall Faulk, Fred Taylor, Edgerrin James, Jamal Lewis, Priest Holmes, LaDainian Tomlinson, Curtis Martin, Ricky Williams, Duece McAlister, Shaun Alexander, Tiki Barber... man those years were the BEST! I'm still missing some people too.

Most underrated player in general of all time… maybe because he wasn’t the best “face” for the NFL cuz of his learning disabilities and not being able to speak like an Em Smith or Barry Sanders… he’s #1 all time

My fav underrated RB is Pierre Thomas. Problem was he played in Sean Payton’s offense which was the only team who consistently had 3 rotating backs. PT was always the best of the bunch. Big part of their SB win.

If he had the carries CJ2k had he would have broken 2500 yards from scrimmage. Especially since he was a better receiving running back than Chris Johnson was. CJ2k was a beast and one of the best fo all time tho

Agreed, to do that over 7 seaaons is far more impressive than just having larger career totals. If you could have an all time real life fantasy draft for one season of players in their prime. With his reciever ability. You can legit argue that Charles could be the first back to take. He's like a bit of Adrian Peterson mixed with a bit of Mcaffrey.

Nobody better than Jamaal Charles! I will die on this hill. Peak Jamaal Charles is absolutely the best Rb i've ever witnessed in my life. As a pretty gifted RB myself; compared to Reggie Bush when I was playing (lol... I was not even close in hindsight) I can confidently say the things Jamaal did on field was peerless.

Jamal is definitely up there 👆 I’m a 86 baby so I grew up on Barry Emmitt and Marshall Faulk etc. he’s a beast just like them but at a time where lbs run 4.4 let’s not forget this . The game was tougher then but you have to be individually great these days . Jamal was just a freak and dominated for a while. Generational goats and freak talents. Generation goat during Jamal’s time was definitely Peterson ! as a kid my favorite freak talent player was Natrone Means

@@willietee8352 Barry Sanders played in an era where running backs were way more glorified than they were in JC’s time so he went under the radar. 45% of Chiefs offense went thru Jamaal which is unheard of in modern times… and he has the highest rush yards per attempt in NFL history (the most important stat), playing 1 more game than Jim Brown… he was also a GREAT receiver. Craziest combination of speed, vision, agility, and elusiveness we’ll ever see. “Not even close” may be over the top, but he’s #1 all time

Every since Jamaal Charles left the chiefs haven't had a running back that you knew could take it to the house after hitting a gap. Pochecko is a good running back don't get me wrong but he has a hard time beating defenders with once he hits the second level.

My greatest RB's of all time list: Jamaal Charles, Barry Sanders, and then... I can't decide. I could put Adrian Peterson here, maybe even Christian McCaffrey or Derrick Henry.. maybe Priest Holmes or Ladainian Tomlinson... I could say Walter Payton or Emmitt Smith... could even make an argument for Jim Brown, Chris Johnson, Marshawn Lynch, Marshall Faulk, Earl Campbell... and others... ugh... even O.J. with his average of 149 yards per game, as much as it makes me want to puke saying that... but the point is - Charles and Sanders just stand out. They had talent that was unmatched, and at their peak, they were better than everyone else, and both of them had careers that ended too soon.
