I'm not at all worried about Love. it's a "sit-in," he's reported. He's there. He's just not putting on the shorts and throwing. How dare he not risk injury before his contract extension during the offseason. It really truly is a non-issue, and I'd bet deal gets done within a week. It'll likely be a big contract, and some will talk about how it's oNlY onE goOd hALf a SeAsoN. But the reality is he's also waited for 3 fucking years patiently and exceeded expectations when he finally got the opportunity. Not to mention, it's simply the way the market is for a franchise QB. When be brings home Lombardi #5 within a few years, all the haters are just gonna move the goal posts. Truth be told, Packers will bring home the lucky #5 before Lions or Vikings get their first, or Bears get their second. 😊

My guess is that the $ amount per year and length of the contract is agreed upon already, it's just coming down to things like guaranteed money, incentives, structure, etc.

Good call Ziggy. You don't see this on the Packers , players not following the rules. Except the fact that Jordan Love is under contract right now and refusing to practice. Rodgers misses 2 off-season practices and it's over for the Jets yet Love refusing to practice during training camp is perfectly acceptable. Rodgers who's a 20 year NFL veteran being at mini-camp is more important than Love who's in his second year starting sitting out training camp. Get a clue.

Love not practicing at this early stage makes perfect sense. Just imagine if he had a slip and caught himself wrong and it cost him a 200-300 million dollar contract due to a freak snapped tendon or something. I'd be disappointed in his decision making if he _were_ practicing.
