Chiefs are still great, but they've had lots of one possession wins by the skin of their teeth, and that's with the aid of the very twitchy whistle Mahomes gets on 50-50 plays for his face of the league status. It feels like they've become "find a way to win" merchants, which I've been skeptical of since that's how people described the Eagles on their undefeated streak before they collapsed last season. Contrast with this Eagles roster. They don't "find a way" to win, they just win. They've lost 1 game once they got rolling after a rocky 2-2 (would have been 3-1 but for a dropped ball) start and it was bc their QB went down vs a team they just hung 55 on in the conference championship. Most of the rest of their games never really felt like they were in doubt. I went into the last Chiefs/Eagles Super Bowl feeling like the teams were pretty evenly matched phase-for-phase, Eagles maybe slightly edged out on O and D and with appreciably worse special teams. The special teams matchup is still a little iffy with Jake Elliott having lost a step, but they're better on kickoffs and punts I feel like the Eagles are solidly improved on offense and defense with the Chiefs having regressed. Eagles just feel like the better team going into this one
