The truest sign of getting old. Lamenting about how things used to be over and over and over instead of adjusting to how things are today. With the advent and widespread availability of betting online, there is more information available to the public and to the books based on exponentially more betting. Lines are more accurate now than they used to be. Putting the majority of your betting choices on the assumption the lines are “off” hasn’t worked in 2 years. The next step is to put the majority of your time and effort into braking down the matchups and personnel if you want to stay with the times.

@@al2931it's harder than you think. The pros have survived for years by NOT twisting in the wind and changing strategy with every downswing. Hard to determine what is variance vs what is a true regime change. For example, I have zero regrets about Denver & Atlanta. OTOH, it's worth asking if Tennessee's unprecedented futility is a trend or a fluke. I agree with what you're saying in general but I'm skeptical that more widespread betting is making bookmakers set lines that are more friendly to favorites. That's the obvious conclusion to draw from this year's results but it doesn't make a ton of sense. The books have gotten wrecked in December with all these favorites covering. You really think that's going to last long-term? I sure don't.

I actually wrote close to the same thing on Raybon and stuckys video last week. It seems like nobody on the action network has adjusted this year. The majority of the time they just keep giving out these shitty teams as underdogs with no adjustments and that isn't working this year. I think we can all agree this has been a different year for wagering on NFL. There is tons of information out there for all of us. Plus as you mentioned these guys focused all year on the numbers even if it's for a team that has no shot that week rather than using the matchups. It's just not working out for the way these guys are making picks this year. I think Simon is making a last ditch effort to try and switch it up a bit but to little to late. Chad is just Chad lol. But yeah overall It gets old hearing about how things used to be and if this was any other year I would hammer this bet. Well it's not any other year from the past. You guys should have adjusted much sooner.

Another 2-3 week lol. Consistently hitting at 40% like tbese two turns a "professional" bettor broke and forced to retire. But Chad owns the network, and Simon has a large inheritance. So here they are, claiming to be pros, giving terrible losing picks, and misleading people. They came into the season high on the Panthers and Giants and low on the Vikings and never adjusted. No self reflection, just excuses. Amazing job taking that Gametime Bet365 and Tommy John money.

Simon, you must be indulging in cannabis infused chocolates if you think NE would ever take a QB at #1 if this was a stronger QB class. Drake Maye is the real deal. Did you forget he’s on the absolute worst roster in the NFL with no legit weapons to work with? And even then, he’s looked very impressive on several occasions considering he probably has the worst WR’s in the league. I think he’s the rookie QB with the most upside in terms of physical tools, NE just has to get better personal around him.

Chad has no confidence. He says he likes the lions. I don't mention it often but so many times ive heard the guy give his pick just to be persuaded the other way or outright vetoed.
