It took Josh Allen 3 years to figure it out. He also worked his ass off on fixing his mechanics. Richardson needs to follow through with that fixing his mechanics plan.

The problem is that Josh Allen is a one of one type of case. It was general consensus for decades that with mechanics minor or even major changes are somewhat achievable with time and effort, particularly if it's a guy that is not playing, but overhauling a guy's entire motion WHILE he was starting NFL games is simply not realistic, and even with time, effort and sitting, AWFUL mechanics were considered simply not worth the time because they weren't gonna get much better anyway, and the player had supposedly been successful with those crappy mechanics beforehand. For example, Cam Newton wasn't very good at throwing the ball... but he didn't need to be very good at it to be a good QB. Then Josh Allen did it, people assumed that the general consensus was wrong so now taking all those magnificent physical specimens with shit throwing motions that made them incompetent or very subpar passers was on the board since those issues were fixable and... Josh Allen is still the last guy since to have done it. So maybe he, instead of being the proof that disproved the rule, is actually the exception that proved the rule.

@@lucrative6477Hockenson a Top5 TE hasn’t played a snap and he’s a big part of the offense. Addison missed 2 games (49ers & Texans) and he’s a big part of the offense. They also missed the starting ILB for 2 games. Injuries are a part of the game that’s why you draft and develop. The Vikes have won these games without several key pieces and that speaks to how good they are.

@Steve there were actually a few Commodes fans who were saying after Week Two that they were very close to juggernauting it. Sure, it was the Giants and you never know if they actually can and will make that improvement even against them. We've been forced to argue over this with Giants fans ever since who seem to think they "should have won". Which I'd be fine with if it had been the Giants that stoppped them on those seven drives + the Ekeler runback on the kickoff. But it was penalties, nary a blue uniform in sight. Clean those up and it's 56 points the Giants can not stop, and then more pundits would have picked up on it a week earlier too. Commodes have had one mediocre game and now three good ones. Verging on great.

If you still had cousins, it would be much better media wise. Darnold has a history of starting hot and fading abruptly. The vikings in general also have a tendency to do the same. I still think it’s different this year, but don’t act like that though isn’t looming in the back of your mind. Them and the browns are the epitome of the “fool me once…,” saying.

I'll give you some "what ifs" from the Ravens' point of view. What if Rashod Bateman hadn't dropped the ball in the end zone? What if Mark Andrews hadn't dropped a perfectly thrown ball to him? What if Zay Flowers hadn't dropped his ball? It seems to me that the Ravens could have, at the very least, beat the Bills by more points than they already did.

Hurts has struggled whenever AJ isn't playing. This time with both his wideouts out I didn't expect much but thought the defense would step up more after that Saints thrashing. So Tampa has to wonder which Baker is going to show up. Last week's Baker that struggled or this week's version. He's really too inconsistent to crwon him just yet.

Unless your a check down QB, you are going to throw some 50-50 balls. Fuck, that’s even been BY DESIGN in KOCs offense. There are plays where KOC clearly says, Jefferson is 1 on 1, you’re throwing the ball to him 50 yards downfield no matter if he’s covered or not. That’s part of the gameplan…..
