I don't think it was a trap game; the Broncos just have a good pass defense even last year after the Dolphins game; the only other defense that had elite pass defense on that list at one point was the Eagles, but that was two years ago, superbowl run. Only reason I know anything about the Broncos is Perna.

Ranking changed drastically this week. Bucs back into the top 10. Eagles out of the top 10. Commanders in the top 10. Probably will change again next week as well. Very solid effort by Tom Grossi this week.

One of two things are going to happen this year and because of Tom I will have joy no matter which happens: 1) Repeat of 1998 season except in the NFC Championship game the Vikings best kicker in the last 26 year doesn’t Gary Anderson all over the place. 2) The Vikings go full Vikings in the playoffs. Mad respect Tom for putting your arch rivals up on top. As a Seahawks fan, I don’t think I would ever have it in me to rank the Niners at number 1. On that though, I don’t think we deserve to be at number 5. Personally I think teams like the Steelers and the Bucs are better than us, but even with all the injuries we have, I’m really proud of my team for fighting with one of the best teams in the NFL on their home turf.

this game cleared up a good deal of my fears about the Lions this year tbh. Seeing that this machine absolutely crushes competition when well oiled is a relief. It won't always be THAT pretty, but the defense has shown it's improved in a big way. Once Branch is back, and provided we don't slip back into Jared Goof territory like we did after last year's seahawks game (yes, I'm still mad about it), we'll be an absolute force. Goff's the only question, and when your only question just broke a record for consistency in a game against a solid opponent (injured though they may have been), you're in a good place.

i still think the "collapse" the vikings had is overblown. a controversial at best int that takes points off the board for the vikings followed by a TD fumble TD by the packers in the 4th that made the game look close, but the moment they got within 6 we went down the field to make it a 9 point game again. and then we turn down points that would have made it a 12 point game with 2 minutes to play and went for the instant win. where a horrendous spot just outside of the 2 minute warning with no challenges left because we already went 3/3 on challenges in the game loses us possession and GB gets an inconsequential TD to make it a 2 point loss instead of 9. we were never not in control of winning that game despite it looking close for a minute
