I've never been a Lion's fan, like I said, I live in Michigan. I became a Vikings fan in grade school, when Fran Tarkentan was QB, Chuck Foreman was RB, and Samie White was WR. Sure they made it to the big dance a couple times and choked, but at least they made it there.! In my lifetime. So, far. Now the Vikings are leading the division. So, we'll see whether they can continue with constant comebacks of games. The Eagles look unstoppable, but, all it takes is one loss in the playoffs. It's ironic to see Stafford get traded from Lion's, win the Superbowl, and then lay a goose egg so far this year. You still have the talent from last year, what's the problem.?! T. Brady is in the same boat, receivers who can't catch a football. How did they make it to the NFL.? But, Brady is past his prime too. Ego, has replaced his skill. Kinda got off the subject of how the Lion's suck. But, just giving some insight on my knowledge of football. Which isn't much.

Green Bay's season is essentially over. The division race is all but guaranteed to go to Minnesota, and at 3-6 wild card is going to be VERY difficult to get to (especially considering a 4-5 team STILL leads the NFC South and the current 7th seed in the NFC is the 49ers with a .500 record)

That was a bit of a stretch for sure. The way the rule reads, when the playclock hits zero, the ref looks to ball and if it's not snapped by then it's delay of game. So in a sense you get an extra second grace period. Those are the rules.

I've been a Rams fan for some 46 years and I told the lions fans last year when they got Goff that it wont be long before that team arrives and that young talent comes around, well one year later the Lions are here. I was pulling for the Rams to win yesterday just to help the Lions get in the playoffs and they nearly pulled it out. But despite the Lions knowing they were out of the playoffs they still went and won that game on the road. Your team have arrived and you have the 6th pick in the draft as well. Difference this week is Tom actually won the game when he got the ball at the end. Rodgers did what he does best and choked. That shows a clear difference in their mindsets. I'm a Broncos fan, so I'm not inherently biased to or against their teams. In Tom's case, at least he has the resume to act like an entitled sore loser when stuff doesn't go his way. Man divorced his supermodel wife to keep playing. Football is his life. Rodgers on the other hand kind of acts like a wannabe celebrity and feels himself a little too much for my liking. Still a great player, but he's not clutch in crucial moments...hence the 4 NFC championships he choked away.

The problem with the Green Bay Packers is they leave Rodgers run the team. He doesn't have to even practice in preseason he saves the practicing for the regular season and once other teams play them that have practiced, they win or they are close games. Now Rodgers finally has his preseason pratice in during this regular season and they are full of injuries. He needed the pre-season this year especially to connect with all of his young receivers including practice squad which are playing now. Rodgers is pushing really hard to make plays with players that are practice squad at best. They are running bad routes and when you do that, the picks happen. A lot of it is on the packer management that is just happy to put people in the stands in lambeau Field. They don't care if they win or lose as long as those seats are sold out 10 years in advance! Rodgers should have left Green Bay and played on a better team so he could still compete these last year's of his career very similar to what Brett Favre did.

He did not attend pre-season workouts and before that gave signals that he would not continue to play in GB. That is probably what spooked Davonte Adams.

This shows me the Pleasant firing was the right move. We will see how it plays out the coming weeks but this was a strong showing like DizzyDevils said below. I'm encouraged by this performance. I don't care what you say about Rodgers or the lack of talent around the league. We don't even get to use those excuses. But against a surefire HOF QB this win was a statement for us. By all odds Rodgers should have torched us like he always does. Good job on Glenn to get our boys right. We just went from allowing the most points in the league to a season low point game on the defensive side. I don't care what any Lions fan says, this team is trending in the right direction. I don't know or think that DC is the right HC for us but as far as talent goes, I'm encouraged by what I've seen. Brad Holmes has captured magic in the draft. We have 5-6 starters (jameson included if he does return) from the drafts alone which is a great stat for any GM. You don't hit on all the picks (like Levi) but he is proving to be a competent GM. A lot of the guys we have are on prove it deals and we have a ton of cap space to work with next year. interested to see what direction we go. If we shore up the defense with proven playmakers and get some quality draft talent AND our FUTURE QB I see us having a promising season next year. Now if our offense can start up again I'd like to see a few more wins before its all said and done. Lets go Lions! #ONEPRIDE

I’m a fan of 45 years and I do like what I’m seeing Campbell and his staff get out of the players for sure. But I’m not so sure about a lot of his coaching decisions Like not taking the 3 on the opening drive and not punting on our last possession. On the opening drive 4th down from their 7 you have to take the points. I was so surprised Rogers didn’t score on the last drive with only 55 yards and 2 minutes to go. Punt the ball and make him drive the field. And had he scored you could have blamed it on not taking the field goal in the 1st quarter. They did have some players step up yesterday though Barnes had a huge game as did Joseph, both late round picks. Hutch didn’t have many tackles but the pick was a huge smart play! Go Lions!
