Several things that Hebert brings to the Chargers . He is very young and has alot of energy. His leadership and desire to win is something that has not been seen in a Chargers QB in years. Phillip Rivers had this same energy and he did well for a bit. If the Chargers continue to keep Herbert free from injury there is no telling what he could bring this season !

Nah, great receivers who know how to get open and want to catch the ball. Justin Herbert is so overlooked. He's only in his second year and is easily a top ten quarterback in the NFL. That said... The Chiefs defense is terrible. They've given giant contracts to some of those dudes and they just don't play well together. Their offense hasn't lit anybody up yet this year, so the defense needs to make some stops, and they're just not doing it. They're not winning any Super Bowls with that defense playing the way it is.

He's def not overlooked. If anything I feel he's still heavily unoptimized. Coaching staff still playing him to 'protect' him and not design stuff that he can exploit matchups in key situations. He often has to bail his offense out going 3rd and long and against big pressure fronts. If the offense was truly tailored for him he wouldn't be in those situations too often and he'd be in the convo of getting 3/4 TDs every week.
