He's honestly one of the best passers in the game. His accuracy is almost always on point. He's a little risky sometimes, but that's the type of qb the Browns needed, someone who isn't afraid to throw it down field and hype up the crowd. Heck of a season for him.

Watching this after Baker's disaster against Pittsburgh in Week 6 of 2020. The difference is staggering. Here he's so quick with getting the play back after the snap. His feet are always chopping, he's so decisive, he has touch, he could operate from the pocket because he was working so much quicker. There's a real urgency there. Now, he seems to be so lost/confused about the coverage that he plays slow and hesitates. Then his feet go haywire and you have the type of throws that get picked off routinely. Oh how I plead for "Old Baker" to come back!!

Man, i am so happy and pumped. Im fortunate enough to had the pleasure of watching this kid since his first game with the sooners against Tennessee. It took a few plays to shake the nerves, but he won that game and hasnt looked back since. TX Tech doubted him. So he came to OU and became a CFB Legend. "Experts" doubted him in the NFL draft. So he came to Cleveland 1st round, took the starting QB position and brought a 0-16 team to damn near a winning season. Im so proud of this kid. I love the chip on his shoulder. So keep doubting, Baker Haters. Playoffs next year. No doubt in my mind. superbowl bound very soon.

I can’t lie, the “feeling dangerous” line really made me intrigued by this kid. Not to mention he turned down some very attractive offers from powerful agents and coaches because of what he believes in. He’s his own guy and I love that. Count me amongst the many non-Cleveland natives that are rooting for the Browns (after my Seahawks of course 😜).

Almost every good play starts from Playaction with Runningback. And this year there were waaaay to many 5-7 step dropbacks. Last year he got the Ball 3 Steps and the Ball was gone. They even had designed Rightside scrambles.. This year he was just running for his life to the right side. Last year they didnt win much at the Beginning but they did everything so that Baker was playing at a good lvl. If the Browns get a good HC, Baker can be really good.

What could’ve been.. he could have signed a multi year contract for probably about 30m a year in Cleveland, but wanted more. Then he gets benched this season. He’ll be lucky to get a 1 year, 5m contract next year. I thought we were gonna watch you bring Cleveland Super Bowls, bake. Regardless, thank you for the memories (especially the 2020 wild card).

as a browns fan i absolutely hate how we did baker. we had make a playoff run and he seemed to be the future of the browns. he followed up with one bad year due to injuries and was never given a second chance. watson maybe be a better QB on paper but baker brought life back into this organization and he had the personality to be the browns QB. meanwhile deshaun doesn’t even care about this team and baker is fighting for a winning season w the bucs. hope he makes it and i hope his career is met with great things

This dude's timing is amazing. He hits that back foot and the ball is out. Throwing darts. Like him or not, he's going to put up Maddie yards and definitely a lot of playoff appearances if not a super bowl or two. Seriously, I didn't want to like this guy either but he is dangerous. Another year or two maturing as a man and he might be very scary to play against. Anyway, I wish him luck so we can watch some good football! Just love the game.

Watching this from 2020: pay attention to Mayfield's feet. Always chopping, always moving, quickly sliding, stepping up, evading in the pocket. Now he looks so slow and stagnant moving in the pocket. Yes, he can still throw on the run fairly well but that's about it. What made him special in 2018 was his ability to throw FROM the pocket, not like Kyler Murray but more like Drew Brees. I don't know what the hell happened because that quickness in his game is all but GONE. It's kind of sad to watch. From breaking the rookie TD record to barely even completing a 5 yard throw. What's the explanation? It's a tragedy!!

he's lost a lot of weight over the 2019 offseason after he gained 30 pounds to "bulk up". That was a mistake on his part, and he just seemed out of it. So far, other than the ravens game he's played pretty decent. I do hope that he can improve. He is talented. there is no doubting that. You don't break a record playing in 15 games by not being talented.
