People forgot how good he is. His numbers may not be eye-popping but he had a bad DC who put him in coverage and used him pretty uncreatively(let's also not forget he played thru a lotta injury.) If you watch him you can see his impact. Hopefully, this new DC uses him right and he goes back to putting up eye-popping stats.

I know Mack hasn't had the same "impactful" performances over the last couple years that he had earlier in his career, but I think that's mainly because of the lack of playmakers around him on defense to take the attention away from him. To me, he still looks incredibly explosive and still has that killer instinct mentality. I certainly don't think he's lost that ability to completely take over a game in just a couple of big plays. I can see him taking the Chargers to the next level much like Von Miller did for the Rams late last season and into the playoffs. As an Eagles fan from Philly, I can't wait to see how this stacked AFC plays out. Chargers, along with many other teams in the AFC, are gonna be very fun to watch.
