This is how sports go. It's nothing unique to the Chiefs. People like to root for the underdog. In the 80s and 90s the Patriots were terrible so people wanted to see them succeed. Then Tom Brady comes along and wins 312 SuperBowls in a row and everybody hates them outside of Boston. That's life. The Chiefs are the Juggernaut now. People will continue to root against them until they finally fall from grace - which they will eventually. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to go stick some pins in my Patrick Mahomes voodoo doll.

As a Denver guy I wasn't hopeful going into this game, but enjoyed every minute of it. I had a feeling the field goal wouldn't work out, but thought I was being too negative. After it happened I had a very familiar feeling, and thought (of course, the Chiefs!) Excellent game, I still love watching Nix play.

Danna and Chenal came across the lime of scrimage like two Grizzly bears rudely awakened from hibernation and swatted the ball out of the air as time expired. A spectacular athletic play!! And not to be forgotten, Hardman's electrifying kick return on a missed field gloal. He caught the ball deep in the end zone ran like a man possesed, then stopped on a dime, reversed his field, broke 4 tackles and almost went all the way!!!

I can only imagine if the Raiders sign a good quarterback (either by drafting highly or picking a vet up) and then suddenly the AFC West becomes one of the toughest divisions in the league again. They've also gotta jettison Pierce for that to happen, but at least a solid QB gives you a chance when the coaching isn't very good.
