The Football player John Randle nearly about never happen. Realizing this is a great tribute to the man compelled me to share a story. Randle was trying to get onto the football team. Coach said he wasn’t big enough. Frustrating the then undrafted defensive lineman. Not being one to give up he returned for the weight in. He was just barely over the minimum weight requirement at 250 lbs. Little did the coach know Randle had a little help from above. It was a chain he hid while on the scales. I know what you’re thinking. He cheated right? Wrong. He had the intelligence to understand that the coach didn’t realize the greatness within. In turn , it’s that quickness that led to multiple pro bowls and a headache for offensive coordinators.
@dondajulah4168 Жыл бұрын
Oh please. The coaches probably knew he wasnt 250 lbs and he probably got extra points for thinking of a way to cheat. If they were really serious about the requirement, they would have made him strip all the way down (at least to his underwear).
